Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Leh
Your representative meets you at Leh Airport and takes you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon letting your body adjust to the altitude. If conditions work out, you can head to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the local market on your own to get a feel for the area.

- Day 2
Sham Valley
After breakfast, drive along the Indus River to see Gurudwara Pathar Sahib nestled in the Himalayas, then check out the gravitational anomaly at Magnetic Hill where vehicles roll uphill. From there, head to where the Indus and Zanskar Rivers meet. Next, visit Likir Monastery to see its impressive gilded Maitreya statue. Continue driving along the river to Rizong Monastery, where you can do a steep valley walk if you're interested. Head back to Leh for dinner.

- Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley
After breakfast, check out and drive toward Nubra Valley, stopping at Khardung La Pass to take in views of the Indus Valley and mountains around you. Once you arrive in Nubra Valley (the Valley of Flowers), settled between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges, check into your hotel. Before evening, take a short walk through nearby villages to see how locals live.

- Day 4
Nubra Valley to Leh
After breakfast, head to Hunder for a camel ride across the high-altitude desert with snow-capped peaks in the distance. Drive through sand dunes between Hunder and Diskit where the landscape shifts from desert to rocky mountains. Visit the 515-year-old Buddhist monastery in Diskit perched on a hilltop with valley views. After exploring and riding, drive back to Leh over Khardung La Pass and settle into your hotel.

Leh to Pangong Lake
Early in the morning, eat breakfast (you can get a packed meal instead if preferred) and head toward Pangong Lake. Stop at Shey Palace, the old capital of Upper Ladakh, then continue to Thiksey monastery complex. Cross Chang La Pass at 5,486 meters where you'll find good photo spots. Stop in Tangtse village for tea and rest. Drive through Changtang toward Pangong Lake, a massive body of water stretching 133 km to the Indo-China border. Check into your camp and relax by the water.

Pangong Lake to Leh
Breakfast at camp, then explore Pangong Lake and the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon, drive back toward Leh and stop at Hemis Gompa, the largest monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Arrive in Leh, check in, and spend the evening however you'd like, whether that's shopping or resting before you leave.
