Arrival in London
Your festive getaway to London starts today. The city takes on a special character during the holidays, and you're heading into that scene. This is your arrival day, so you'll get settled and probably spend the evening relaxing after your journey.
- Day 2
London
After arriving, you've got the day to yourself to wander London's festive streets. The Christmas markets are set up around the city with handmade gifts, decorations, and that holiday atmosphere with mulled wine and cinnamon in the air. Later this evening, you'll join the group for a welcome dinner to meet your fellow travelers.

London
A local guide leads you through central London starting at Trafalgar Square. You'll pass Buckingham Palace, Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, and Big Ben during the walking portion. The tour ends in Covent Garden, where you can spend time checking out the street performers and the marketplace itself. From there, you'll head back to the hotel on a bus, taking in London's Christmas lights along the way.

You'll take the river bus out to Greenwich, getting views of the Tower of London from the water. Once there, you can browse the local market stalls and choose to visit either the Cutty Sark or the National Maritime Museum (your preference). After grabbing lunch at a local pub, you can take the Clipper boat back or stay longer in Greenwich. The evening is yours to do whatever you'd like.

Blenheim Palace
Today you're heading to Blenheim Palace, one of England's most impressive homes and birthplace of Winston Churchill. The palace is set up as a winter wonderland for the season. You'll have Christmas Afternoon Tea included, then time to wander the market stalls or walk through the manicured gardens. The drive back to London happens early evening, leaving you time to explore more of the city.

London
St. Paul's Cathedral is on the agenda this morning, where you can see the famous dome that's such a big part of London's skyline. After lunch (your choice where), you and your Tour Manager walk along the South Bank. You'll cross the Millennium Bridge for some nice city views, pass Shakespeare's Globe, and end up at Borough Market. This evening brings a traditional English restaurant farewell dinner with your new friends from the trip.
