- HHAL· October 28th, 2025I wanted to tour 5 Stans and had limited time & Adventure Bound offered 16 days tour which was great. It was planned out well with a variety of city tours, nature, hiking, museums, mosques, mausoleums, and bazaars. There's not much down time which was expected due to the time frame, and not many if any optional excursions is needed...everything was included. There are long travel days on bumpy roads in minivans in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Larger buses in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan in the city. There were 4x4 SUV's to go to Darwaza. Hotels were better than expected majority being new and mostly large. Yurt and guesthouse in Kyrgyzstan was nice, but Turkmenistan yurt was cold and bathroom was not clean. Near the end a few lunches and dinners were included which had a big variety of local dishes. All breakfasts were included which had a decent buffet in most places. Food is inexpensive in all the countries compared to western pricing. Locals are very friendly and all the countries feel very safe.Show more

Turkmenistan - Visa required, please note that the visa application process takes up to 2 weeks. To simplify the typically complicated in-person application, we offer a complimentary service where you only need to complete a straightforward application form and provide a scanned copy of your passport. Once the Letter of Invitation (LOI) is confirmed, the visa will be obtained at the border crossing with Uzbekistan. Please remember that the visa fee, which ranges from $80 to $140 USD depending on your nationality, must be paid in cash to the officials. 12 overnights in 3+* & 4* hotels with breakfast included; 2 overnights in yurts near Issyk Kul lake and Darvaza crater including dinner (Accommodation is always on shared basis); 1 overnight in a guesthouse in Karakol (Accommodation is always on shared basis);
