Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Pu Luong Nature Reserve
Your guide picks you up from your Hanoi hotel early in the morning, and then you'll drive about 4 hours to Pu Luong Nature Reserve with a stop halfway to stretch your legs. Once you arrive, grab lunch before checking into your local homestay. The afternoon involves a challenging 10km trek that takes you through isolated villages like Kho Muong and the largest cave in the reserve, following mountain and stream trails. You'll walk through Bang village to see the terraced fields before heading back to your accommodation. Dinner happens at the homestay, and the evening is yours to relax and recover from the day.

- Day 2
Pu Luong Nature Reserve to Hanoi
After breakfast, be ready by 8:30 AM to head toward Ban Cong for a 2.5km walk that crosses a suspension bridge and leads to one of Pu Luong's main villages. Along the way, you'll see river landscapes and rice fields, plus the large water wheels that local ethnic groups built. From there, try a bamboo rafting experience on the river with local boatmen before trekking another 2km through more rice fields and villages to close the loop. Back at your hotel by 11:30 AM, you'll check out, have lunch, then start the drive back to Hanoi, arriving later that evening.
