Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens whenever works for you. There aren't any scheduled activities during the day, but there's an evening welcome meeting where you'll connect with your CEO and the rest of the group. If you land early, the city has plenty to offer while you wait for that meeting.

Athens
Start with a guided walking tour covering the Acropolis and Parthenon, and you'll stop by Shedia Home, a local nonprofit cafe. After that, you've got the afternoon free to see what interests you most, whether that's the Acropolis Museum, Ancient Agora, or the National Archaeological Museum. Later in the evening, you'll participate in a cooking class with a local chef and then eat what you've prepared together.

Athens to Kalampaka
You'll leave Athens early by local bus at 5:00 AM and then take a train heading north to Kalampaka. This is where you'll stay while exploring Meteora, those monasteries that sit on top of massive natural rock formations rising up from the landscape.

Kalampaka
This day is yours to spend however you'd like around Meteora. You can take a local bus up to the mountaintop monasteries on your own schedule, or if you prefer having a guide, you can pre-book the guided hiking tour and explore them on foot with someone who knows the area well.

Kalampaka to Delphi
After breakfast, you'll visit Thermopylae and stop at the Information Centre to learn about that historic battle. From there, you'll drive through mountain scenery around Mt Parnassos to reach Delphi, where you'll get an orientation walk and then a full guided tour of Ancient Delphi. Your evening is open for wandering the charming town or sitting at a local cafe while taking in the valley views.

Delphi to Nafplio
You're traveling to Nafplio with a brief stop at the Corinth Canal along the way. Once there, you'll take a short orientation walk through the old town's narrow cobblestone streets. The rest of your afternoon and evening are free, and if you're up for it, you can climb up to Acronafplia fortress for nice views of the city and the sea.

Nafplio
You have a full free day to explore Nafplio and the surrounding ancient sites. Epidavros is a popular choice for its historical importance, or you could head to Mycenae to see the impressive treasury and ruins. Tiryns, a lesser-known Mycenean site, sits in the suburbs if you want something different. You'll head back to Athens in the late afternoon.

Athens to Volos
You'll leave Athens in the morning and drive to Volos, stopping briefly at Thermopylae. Once you arrive, your CEO will lead an orientation walk through the city, then you'll have free time to settle into your hotel. That evening, you'll join a local guide for a cultural walk around town, stopping at two traditional taverns where you'll try Greek meze, which are small plates that'll make up your light dinner.

Volos
You're heading out for a full day exploring the Pelion region village by village. You'll stop in Milies for a short hike to a cave, visit a women's co-op in Vizitsa, walk through Pinakates, and spend some time at the beach in Kato Gatzea before heading back to Volos for the evening. Each stop gives you a real sense of how people live in this part of Greece.

Volos to Thessaloniki
You'll drive north from Volos and stop at Mount Olympus National Park for a short walk near the mountain's base, that place from Greek mythology. Then you'll visit the Polycentric Museum of Aigai to tour the tombs and look at the archaeological finds. You'll arrive in Thessaloniki for an orientation walk with your CEO, and the rest of your evening is free.

Thessaloniki
You've got the day to explore Thessaloniki however you want. Check out historic spots like the Roman Forum, visit some museums, or take a food walking tour sampling Greek meze and local specialties. Your CEO will have a favorite restaurant if you want to join them for dinner in the evening, but it's completely optional.

Thessaloniki to Kavala
You'll leave Thessaloniki and drive to Kavala. Your CEO will lead an orientation walk through the old town once you arrive. There's a chance to hike up to the castle if you want good views of the city and sea, though that's optional. After that, your afternoon and evening are free to explore more or just relax.

Kavala to Istanbul
You're heading out from Kavala early in the morning, driving east toward Alexandropoli. You'll take a short walk with your CEO to see the area and grab lunch, then continue toward the Turkish border and on to Istanbul, where you'll arrive that evening.
