Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo
You'll land at Tokyo's airport and look for your driver in the arrival hall. From there, a private car takes you straight to your hotel, so you can settle in without worrying about transportation or navigation.
- Day 2
Tokyo
The day is yours to fill however you like. When evening comes around, head into Tokyo's nightlife by taxi or train. Omoide Yokocho near Shinjuku Station has about 60 traditional bars and restaurants with an old-time feel, Kabukicho's packed with izakayas and entertainment spots, or there's Golden Gai if you want to check out something that dates back to the 1950s.

Mt. Fuji Region
Start the day at West Lake Village to see traditional thick-thatched roof cottages and catch distant Mt. Fuji views. Next, swing by Oshino Hakkai to look at eight crystal-clear spring clusters. After that, walk through Narusawa Hyoketsu Ice Cave, which formed over 1,150 years ago from lava flows. Finish at Arakurayama Sengen Park where you'll get spectacular Mt. Fuji views, and cherry blossoms if you're traveling in spring.

Suwa
Start with Matsumoto Castle, one of Japan's most complete original castles with its striking black wainscoting and unique secondary donjon. Later, head to Suwa to explore the largest lake in Nagano Prefecture, surrounded by cherry blossoms during spring. Then visit Suwa Taisha, one of Japan's oldest and most important shrines, positioned in the center of the country.

Takayama
Check out Shirakawa-go, a mountain village where 96 percent of the landscape is forest and steep mountains surround everything. The area includes Hakusan National Park and Tiansheng Prefectural Natural Park with their preserved natural areas. Then see Takayama Jinya, which served as the local government office during the Edo Period until 1969 and now operates as a museum for public visits.

Kanazawa
Spend time in Kanazawa, which became a center of cultural achievement during the Edo Period under the powerful Maeda Clan. Walk through Kanazawa Castle and the beautiful Kenrokuen garden. Wander the traditional Higashi Chaya District with its characteristic wooden machiya buildings, then stroll the historic Nagamachi Samurai district where old architecture sits alongside modern city atmosphere.

Kanazawa to Kyoto
Two bullet train connections take you from Kanazawa to Kyoto. First, catch the Shinkansen to Tsuruga, which takes about 45 minutes. There's a brief connection time of around 5-10 minutes before you board another Shinkansen heading to Kyoto, arriving after roughly 52 minutes of travel. Once you arrive, the rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own.

Uji - Nara
Start at Fushimi Inari Taisha, the headquarters of roughly 30,000 Inari shrines spread across Japan, with roots going back to the 8th century. Travel to Uji afterward, which is known for its high-quality green tea and tea cultivation heritage. Head over to Nara Park to see more than 1,200 roaming deer that hold natural treasure status, and visit Tōdai-ji Temple, one of the city's most prized buildings.

Osaka (Free Time)
You've got a free day in Osaka to plan however you want. Consider visiting Kuromon Market for fresh local produce and street food, or check out Osaka Castle Park. The Dotonbori entertainment district has a vibrant atmosphere, Shinsaibashi offers shopping, and riding the Hep Five Ferris Wheel gives you nice city views from up high.
