Arrival in Java
You'll land in Java at some point today, and there's no rush to get anywhere specific. Your CEO and other travelers will meet up for a welcome gathering to get everyone oriented and ready for what's ahead.

Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta is yours to explore however you'd like. You can wander through Javanese temples, take a bike ride out to the rice paddies around the city's edges, or join a food tour if you want to try local street food like gudeg, a curry made from unripe jackfruit.

Yogyakarta to Magelang
A local guide takes you to Candirejo Village to learn about the area's Javanese culture and traditions. You'll see how people farm multiple crops and go about their daily routines. After lunch with local food, you'll drive to Magelang for the night.

Magelang to Solo
Start before sunrise and hike up Setumbu Hill to watch the sun come up over fog and jungle-covered temple mountains. Once you head back down, there's an easy bike ride through the village where you'll see Borobudur Temple and the traditional market. By evening, you'll drive to Solo.

Solo
Solo is the heart of Javanese culture, and you'll spend the day getting into its history and traditions. The day includes Mangkunegaran Palace, Triwindhu Market, and a walk through Laweyan Village to see how heritage stays alive here. You'll also get to try your hand at traditional batik making.

Solo to Ngadas
After breakfast, head east toward Ngadas Village. On the way, you'll check out Alun Alun Malang City Square and the colorful Jodipan Village. You'll arrive in Ngadas in the late afternoon, a village sitting in Mt Bromo's foothills and known for Javanese traditions and nice natural surroundings.

Ngadas
Get going early in a jeep heading to Bromo Crater, then hike 45 minutes up to Penanjakan Hill for sunrise. After that, keep going through the Sea of Sands to reach Bromo Crater's top with a picnic breakfast at Teletubbies Hill. Back in Ngadas Village later, there's a walking tour to see temples, the tomb of mbah Sedek, and the holy forest. You'll have lunch and dinner at the homestay with free time to poke around.
