Arrival
You'll arrive at the hotel and have the rest of the day to settle in and get comfortable. There's an optional dinner available at the restaurant if you want, but otherwise this evening is about relaxing before everything kicks off tomorrow.

Accra
After breakfast and a welcome briefing with your tour leader, you'll head out to explore Accra's history. Black Star Gate and Independence Square give you insight into Ghana's independence movement, then you'll walk through Jamestown to see the colonial-era buildings. Stop at Kwame Nkrumah's Mausoleum to pay respects, and you'll meet a local artisan who makes Ghana's traditional Fantasy Coffins. Lunch and the rest of your evening are free.

Krobo Village
The morning takes you to Shai Hills Reserve where you'll hike out to Obonu Tem caves and keep an eye out for antelope, zebra, baboons, and green monkeys. After lunch, you're heading to a Krobo village to meet families and make your own bead jewelry while learning about traditional Ghanaian beads. By evening, you'll be back at the hotel for a sunset river cruise on the Volta River with drinks included.

- Day 4
Wli Falls
Today's the day for Mount Afadjato, Ghana's highest mountain at about 885 metres, with great views and chances to spot butterflies and birds. If you'd rather take an easier route, that option's available. After lunch in Wli, you'll visit West Africa's highest waterfall where you might hear Fruit Bats in the cliffs. You're back in Akosombo by evening with time free to grab a drink at the riverfront bar or have dinner with a view.

Ashanti Heritage
You'll travel to a UNESCO World Heritage site near Kumasi to see what remains of the great Asante Empire. There are 10 active shrines made from bamboo, timber, and mud decorated with traditional Adinkra symbols. You'll learn about Nana Yaa Asantewaa's important role in Ashanti history. Back at the hotel, your evening is free and dinner's included at the restaurant.

Landmarks Asante Cultural Centre - Day 6
Ashanti Culture
Kumasi's commercial centre is your focus today, starting with navigating the crowded stalls at Kejetia Market and Adum where you'll see daily local life in action. Then you're at Manhyia Palace, home of the Asantehene King, learning about Ashanti heritage. You'll attend the Akwasidae Festival, a traditional celebration held every six weeks on Sunday with the king's greeting, gift offerings, and parades with drummers and dancers. Street vendors have lunch available during the festival. Your evening is free by the pool and dinner's included.

Bonkro Community
The ancient village of Ntonso teaches you about Adinkra symbols and cloth that have carried meaning in Ghana for centuries. You'll create your own Adinkra cloth with symbols that matter to you. Then you're transferring to Bonkro community guesthouse, where your stay supports forest conservation efforts. Traditional lunch comes next, followed by meeting Kuapa Kokoo cooperative farmers who run a Fairtrade operation and show you cocoa harvesting. A village walk shows how community tourism helps locally. Dinner's included and finishes with an outdoor cinema screening shared with local families.

Cooking & Community
After breakfast, you'll pick which local dish you want to cook for dinner. You're going to New Edubiase market to shop for ingredients while bartering with locals for an authentic experience. Lunch is your own choice. You can bike back through villages on dirt roads or take a vehicle. Then you'll work with the head chef to prepare your group dinner from scratch. Meanwhile, there's a walk available to see the nearby rainforest the community is protecting. Finish with your homemade dinner followed by a bonfire with locals sharing traditional music and stories from Ghana's past.

Departure
You'll have breakfast at the guesthouse before transferring back to Accra with a lunch stop on your own along the way. When you arrive, the group gathers for an included dinner at a local restaurant. After that, you're heading to Accra Airport where the tour ends.
