Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Ha Giang
You'll board a sleeping bus in Hanoi at 22:00 and travel through winding mountain roads overnight. The bus arrives in Ha Giang City at dawn, and you'll head to your hotel to clean up before the Ha Giang Loop tour kicks off around 09:00.
- Day 2
Ha Giang Loop
Follow the Cu Vuong Road through limestone peaks and valleys with stops at Can Ty Wall overlooking the Mien River, then tackle Bac Sum Slope. You'll reach Quan Ba Sky Gate for views of the Fairy Mountains, navigate Tham Ma Slope's curves, and grab local lunch in Pho Cao Village. After learning the Pai-pie craft at Ma So, you'll visit Thien Huong Village near the China border for homemade dinner with a local family before checking into your homestay in Dong Van.

Dong Van to Coc Bang Village
Start at Dong Van Local Market where ethnic groups wear traditional clothing, then check out a hemp weaving village to see artisans working. You'll head up toward Ma Pi Leng Pass for views of the turquoise Nho Que River cutting through Tu San gorge, hike 2 km up Ma Pi Leng Rock Mountain, and stop for lunch in Mau Due Village. Later you'll reach Du Gia Village with rice terraces and wooden houses on misty slopes, settling in at your homestay for home-cooked dinner.

Coc Bang Village to Hanoi
After waking in Du Gia Village, you'll hike about 5 kilometers to Tham Luong Waterfall through rice fields and past wooden stilt houses, swimming in the clear pools (Boong Waterfalls is an optional quieter alternative). You're back in Ha Giang City by around 16:00, then pick your return to Hanoi: the 20:30 night bus (arriving 4:00 AM), 16:00 limousine (arriving 22:30-23:00), or 17:00 sleeping bus (arriving midnight). You'll stop at Ma Pi Leng Canyon and Thuan Hoa Camping for final viewpoints along the way.
