Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport to Arusha
Your guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport and drive you into Arusha City. Once you've settled in, there's a city tour on the agenda that takes in cultural heritage sites around town. You'll walk through Kilombero Market and Maasai Market, see the Clock Tower, and check out Uhuru Tower before heading to your hotel for the night.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll head out to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its massive baobab trees and big elephant populations. The full day involves game drives across the golden savannah where you can spot lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and oryx. Lunch comes as a picnic inside the park around midday, then you'll continue driving until evening and check into your lodge.

Ngorongoro to Serengeti
An early breakfast gets you started before driving toward Serengeti's endless plains. The route passes through the Ngorongoro highlands on the way. Once there, afternoon and evening game drives let you search for lions, leopards, and cheetahs, and you'll likely see buffaloes and thousands of wildebeests scattered across the landscape. A picnic lunch happens around 1 to 2 PM, then more driving until the sun sets.

- Day 4
Serengeti
This full day in Serengeti includes a morning game drive and an evening one. The early drive gives you chances to see predators hunting and watch vast herds moving across the acacia-dotted savannah. During the afternoon, the focus shifts to hippos, crocodiles, and birds hanging around the Seronera River. Lunch is a picnic around 1 to 2 PM, and then you're back out driving until evening.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Karatu
Starting at 6 AM, you'll do a sunrise game drive that runs until 10 AM. Head back to camp for a full breakfast, then spend the rest of the day exploring different landscapes like grassy plains, swamps, lakes, and savannah. Depending on when you visit, there's potential to see the great migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Lunch is around 1 PM at a picnic site, and after that you'll exit the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

- Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you descend into Ngorongoro Crater to see its volcanic landscape and the soda lake called Lake Makat. The crater is the only park in Tanzania where spotting all Big 5 animals in one day is actually possible. You'll see Maasai families in their traditional circular homesteads called Bomas, plus wildlife like wildebeest, gazelle, golden jackal, hippos, and buffaloes. Lunch happens at a picnic site, followed by a short game drive until around 3 PM when you exit the park.

Lake Manyara to Arusha
Breakfast is at 7:30 AM before you head to Lake Manyara National Park, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The park stays green year-round with water covering about two-thirds of it. You'll see acacia, baobab, doum, and umbrella trees, plus elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and lots of birds. A picnic lunch gets served partway through, then a short game drive takes you until around 3 PM before heading back to Arusha City.
