Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
Your guide meets you at Noi Bai International Airport and drives you into the city center. Since check-in happens at 2:00 PM, you'll have time to settle in and rest after traveling.
- Day 2
Hanoi City Tour
After breakfast, your guide picks you up at 8:30 AM for a full day around Hanoi. You'll see ancient temples and pagodas scattered through the city, walk through peaceful villages tucked between busy streets, and stop by Train Street to watch trains pass through the historic houses. A cyclo rickshaw ride takes you through the narrow lanes of the Old Quarter, then you'll catch a traditional Water Puppetry show to end the evening.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast and checking out, you take a shuttle bus to Halong Bay, a UNESCO site with thousands of limestone islets. On your cruise ship, you'll get a welcome drink and lunch while sailing through the scenery. The day includes stops at floating fishing villages and small beaches, with time to relax on deck before dinner as the boat anchors for the night.

Halong Bay to Ho Chi Minh City
The morning starts with an optional Tai Chi session on the upper deck, followed by light breakfast and brunch as you cruise past the main islands. Around 10:30 or 11:00 AM you disembark and head back to Hanoi by shuttle, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. After landing, your transfer takes you to your hotel in the city center.

Landmarks/POIs Halong Bay - Day 5
Ho Chi Minh City
This day is yours to spend however you'd like exploring Ho Chi Minh City on your own. If you want organized activities, you can choose a full-day Mekong Delta tour through tropical fruit gardens and coconut groves with cycling and boat rides, or a half-day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels to see the underground network from the war.
Optional Activities
- Classic Mekong Delta Tour - Ben Tre Province (08:00 AM - 17:00 PM): 2-hour drive to Ben Tre, wooden boat ride through countryside, visit local family workshop to learn traditional coconut methods, 3-4km bicycle ride through village lanes and fruit orchards, stop at local families to chat with farmers and taste fresh fruits and local tea with honey, traditional rowing sampan ride through palm-lined waterways, Mekong Delta specialties meal, optional orchard stroll, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City
- Half-day Cu Chi Tunnels Excursion (08:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 13:00 PM - 17:30 PM): 1.5-hour drive northwest to Cu Chi Tunnels, tour of vast underground passageway network, insight into tunnel history and wartime conditions, access to excavated areas and above-ground rooms

Departure from Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast at your hotel, the rest of the day is free until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
