Mount Fuji Area
Start your morning heading to the Mount Fuji area, where you'll drive through nice mountain landscapes to reach Arakurayama Sengen Park. During the day, you'll stop at Fuji Sengen Shrine to walk around the grounds, and later take a boat ride across Lake Kawaguchiko to see the mountain from the water. After that comes the hike up Mount Fuji to the Fifth Station at 2,305 meters (7,562 feet), which takes a few hours but gives you a real sense of the mountain.
