Nice
You'll land in Nice with the day ahead of you. Since arrival times vary, you can spend the morning and afternoon checking out the city at your own pace. Later this evening, you'll meet the group for a welcome dinner featuring Mediterranean French cuisine in Vieux Nice, the charming old quarter.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence
This morning you'll head to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a hilltop medieval village with walled streets that you can walk through at your own pace. The light here is what drew artists like Matisse and Chagall to the area, so you'll see why once you're wandering around. Later in the afternoon, you'll catch the Flower Parade, which is part of the French Carnival celebrations. Over 100,000 locally grown flowers get used for the parade, so it's quite a sight with all the colors and activity filling the streets.

- Day 4
Menton Lemon Festival
You'll travel to Menton today, the warmest town on the French Riviera and known for its famous Lemon Festival. The day centers on seeing the creative citrus sculptures and watching the colorful parades. By late afternoon, you'll head back to Nice for dinner and evening time to yourself.

Nice
Start your morning by learning how the tram system works around Nice, so you can get around like a local does. After that, you'll head to the flower market with a local guide who'll show you around and explain what you're seeing. From there, you'll wander into the Old Town with its colorful buildings and narrow streets, stopping along the way to try local food on a tasting tour. You'll sample different regional specialties as you walk through the different sections.

Perfume Workshop - Nice Carnival Parade
You'll start with a hands-on workshop at the historic Fragonard perfumery, learning how perfume actually gets made. From there, you head to Eze, a medieval hill town with narrow stone streets and an Exotic Garden offering quiet views across the landscape. Later you return to Nice for the evening to experience the Nice Carnival's Parade of Lights, one of the world's oldest and most well-known carnivals.

Corniche to Monaco
You'll travel along the Corniche coastal road heading toward Monaco, which gives you views of the Mediterranean the whole way. Once there, a guided walking tour takes you to see the changing of the guards and through the Cathedral of Monaco, where Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace are buried. After that, you get to choose what interests you more: touring the Prince's Palace or hopping on the little train that goes through Monaco's history and past Monte Carlo Casino.

Free Day - Optional Dolceacqua Excursion
You have the day free to relax and just soak in the Riviera's laid-back vibe at your own pace. If you want to do something, there's an optional trip to Dolceacqua, a village in the Italian Riviera tucked into the mountains, and lunch is included with that excursion featuring local food. Later in the evening, you'll gather with the other travelers for a farewell dinner to wrap up the trip.
