Arrival in Tokyo
Your flight lands in Tokyo and a driver meets you in the arrival hall to take you to your hotel by private car. The transfer is straightforward and gets you settled in without hassle.
- Day 2
Tokyo
The day is yours to spend as you'd like around Tokyo. You could head to Meiji Jingu Shrine for some quiet time, walk through Shinjuku Gyoen park to see the cherry blossoms if you're there in spring, or check out Ueno Park where there's a zoo and several museums to browse through.

Mt. Fuji Excursion
Head out to see Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi in the Fujikawaguchiko resort town. Take the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway up to Kawaguchiko Tenjozan Park for views of the mountain, then visit Oshino Hakkai village to see the crystal-clear springs there.

Hakone to Kyoto
In Hakone, you'll board the Hakone Pirate Ship for a scenic cruise on Lake Ashino with Mt. Fuji in the distance. Ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani to see the volcanic crater and steam vents, and pick up the local black jade. Stop at Mishima Skywalk suspension bridge for views across to Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay. After that, take the Shinkansen bullet train from Odawara to Kyoto and make your way to your hotel to check in.

Kyoto
Explore Kyoto on your own terms. In Arashiyama you can see Tenryuji Temple and its gardens, walk through the Sagano Bamboo Forest, and cross Togetsukyo Bridge. Or head to Higashiyama district to wander the Philosopher's Path, which is lined with hundreds of cherry trees that bloom in early April.

Fushimi Inari and Nara
Start at Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of red torii gates and the wooded trails up Mount Inari. Then go to the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum to learn about how sake's made locally and do a tasting. Later, head to Nara Park where over 1,000 deer roam freely, and visit Todaiji Temple to see its Big Buddha Hall.
