Itinerary
- Day 1
Zurich
Your flight lands at Zurich International Airport and a transfer takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and get settled in after traveling.
- Day 2
Zurich
After breakfast, you'll take a comprehensive city tour through Zurich. The route goes through Zürichberg district for views of the city, lake and Alps, then stops at the National Museum, Bahnhofstrasse, the Opera House and the University Quarter. You'll walk through the medieval Old Town to see guild houses and historic churches. Later, you'll take a 30-minute Lake Zurich cruise and visit Lindt Home of Chocolate, which has a chocolate fountain plus a guided tour and tastings.

Interlaken - Grindelwald
After breakfast, you'll head out on a day trip through Swiss countryside to Interlaken, which sits between two lakes in the Jungfrau region. There's an orientation stop to take in the surroundings, then you continue to Grindelwald for views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks. Early afternoon you'll take a train back to Interlaken and have the rest of the day free to explore the town, shop or spend time by the lake.

Zurich to Zermatt via Glacier Express
After breakfast, you'll check out and head to Zurich train station to board the Glacier Express to Zermatt. The train goes from Zurich to Chur where the Glacier Express begins its journey through rolling hills and villages. Around midday you'll pass the Rhine Gorge and the Landwasser Viaduct. An optional gourmet meal with Swiss specialties is available during the trip. You arrive in Zermatt, a car-free village at the base of the Matterhorn, and head to your hotel.

Zermatt
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise on the world's highest cable car, reaching 12,740 ft/3,883 meters. You can visit the ice palace, relax in the cinema lounge and see alpine views from the platform. A heated cable car crosses the Theodul Glacier, and the restaurant serves regional specialties. You'll pick up a souvenir before heading back down.

Zermatt to Milan
After breakfast, you'll check out and go to the train station to catch a train to Milan. When you arrive, you'll check in at your hotel. Spend your time walking through Quadrilatero d'Oro, which has luxury boutiques and fashion shops, and see the Gothic architecture of the Duomo di Milano. By evening, you can have an aperitivo at a bar or cafe and watch the city come to life at night.

Milan to Lake Como
After breakfast, you'll take a 1-hour coach ride from Milan to Como to explore the historic center and shop. Then comes a 2-hour Lake Como cruise passing luxurious villas like Villa d'Este in Cernobbio. You'll dock in Bellagio to walk through its alleys and sit at a cafe, then continue to Cadenabbia before heading back to Milan. Note: summer tours (April to October) include the lake cruise with Bellagio and Cadenabbia stops, while winter tours (November to March) have a walking tour of Como, a funicular up Brunate with panoramic views, and a 1-hour lake cruise returning by 6:00 PM.

Milan to Venice
After breakfast, you'll check out and head to the train station to board a train to Venice. Once you arrive, you'll make your way to your hotel and check in to start your time in Venice.

Venice
After breakfast, you'll take a storytelling walking tour of Venice with a local guide through narrow streets and hidden squares to learn about the city's history and tales. You'll see St. Mark's Basilica and its golden mosaics and learn about its significance. Next, your guide will take you to a traditional bacaro (Venetian bar) for tapas and a Spritz to experience local food and drink. Finally, you'll have a gondola ride along the canals for views of the city's architecture.
