Wander around at your own pace, take in the local atmosphere, and get a feel for the city before connecting with your group tomorrow morning. New Orleans
A local guide leads you through New Orleans on a city tour, hitting St. Louis Cemetery #3 and Esplanade before heading into the French Quarter. You'll see St. Louis Cathedral and walk through Pirates Alley. Dinner with your group is a local New Orleans-style meal, then later you'll head to Maison Bourbon to catch some live jazz in the evening.

You'll leave New Orleans and drive north to Oxford, a college town with a laid-back feel. After arriving, you'll have a relaxed evening to explore the town on your own or settle in and grab dinner somewhere local.

Oxford to Memphis
From Oxford, you're heading north to Memphis, the birthplace of blues, rock and roll, and soul music. You'll tour Graceland, Elvis Presley's famous mansion, and walk through his 14-acre estate. That includes his home, his private jets, and the Meditation Garden. It's a substantial tour that takes up a good part of your day.

Memphis to Nashville
This morning starts with a civil rights history tour by coach that follows Martin Luther King Jr.'s last march route. You'll stop at Mason Temple to see where he delivered his 'I've Been to the Mountaintop' speech. During free time, you can explore the National Civil Rights Museum on your own. After that, you'll travel along Music Highway heading toward Nashville and check into the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Nashville
You'll start with a tour of the Ryman Auditorium, the historic original home of the Grand Ole Opry. Later, there's a hands-on chocolate-making class at the iconic Goo Goo Candy Shop, which is a fun break from the touring. By evening, you'll head to your reserved seat at the Grand Ole Opry for the show.

Nashville
Early in the day you'll tour RCA Studio B, Nashville's oldest recording studio where Elvis, Dolly Parton, and Charley Pride all recorded. Depending on the tour, you might get to record your own song. Then you'll spend time at the Country Music Hall of Fame, which has a huge collection of music history. Dinner and a holiday show happen at Gaylord Opryland Resort, and afterward you can choose between a horse-drawn carriage ride or a river cruise through the resort grounds.
