Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and your private driver picks you up at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. After you check in around 2 PM, the rest of the day is yours to wander through the city. There's plenty to see if you want to fill the time: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, the Old Quarter with its narrow streets, the Opera House, Ngoc Son Temple, or you could try the unique experience of grabbing coffee on train street, which is exactly what it sounds like.

- Day 2
Hanoi to Ha Giang
This morning starts with a guided tour covering Hanoi's historic sites, including the French Quarter and Opera House. Then you'll ride through the city on a Vespa, which is a fun way to see things. You'll pass through a Red River island farming village, check out banana and vegetable farms, and stop at Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake. Later you'll visit Truc Bach Lake where the John McCain Monument is located, then head to Huu Tiep Lake to see the B-52 crash site. Before wrapping up, you'll explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area with views of government buildings. For something special, you'll have famous egg coffee by the railway tracks and then dinner with Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant. At 4 PM, a Limousine bus departs for Ha Giang.

- Day 3
Ha Giang Loop
Breakfast starts at 8 AM at a local restaurant in Ha Giang City, then you join the Ha Giang Loop motorcycle ride. The route takes you through mountain passes including Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, and Quan Ba Twin Mountains, along with Can Ty Pass. You'll see rice terraces in Yen Minh with a lunch break in town. After that you'll ride through Tham Ma Pass and 09 Circles Pass before checking into a Hmong family homestay in Dong Van. Dinner happens with the Hmong family, and they'll serve their traditional corn wine so you can try it.

Ha Giang Loop to Du Gia Village
Starting at 8 AM with breakfast, you'll continue the Ha Giang Loop through Sky Pass and Ma Pi Leng Pass, which ranks among Vietnam's four most beautiful passes. You'll pass through Hmong villages and check out The M Slope. Lunch happens in Mau Due village, then you head to Du Gia village. The afternoon includes visiting Sa Li Pass, a green tea forest, rice terraces in Ngam La, an ancient French fortress in Duong Thuong, Lung Ho Viewpoint, and Du Gia waterfall. By evening you'll be checked into a Tay ethnic family homestay and having dinner with the family.

Du Gia to Hanoi
After breakfast at 8 AM at the homestay overlooking the mountains, you'll visit Du Gia market if it's Saturday. From there you explore Ancient Opium Valley in Duong Thuong and enjoy Duong Thuong's viewpoint. Next you'll head to Lung Tam village, the hemp weaving village of Hmong people, and see waterfalls along the route. Lunch happens during the tour. Before finishing at the office at 3 PM, you'll visit Thai An Heaven Gate. After that, you'll have time to shower before your Limousine pick-up back to Hanoi.

Hanoi
This day is free, so you'll explore Hanoi at your own pace and see whatever interests you most. Later in the afternoon, you can relax with a full body massage session at L'essence Spa if you want to unwind.

- Day 7
Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast at the hotel, the cruise team picks you up for the scenic drive to Halong Bay. You'll travel across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies all around. Once you arrive, you'll board the cruise and explore limestone rocks and karst grottoes. There's a trip to a famous limestone cave where you'll have time to walk around and see it yourself. Back on the boat, you'll have an early dinner and then the evening is free for optional activities on board or just relaxing.

- Day 8
Halong Bay to Hanoi
In the morning, there's an optional Tai Chi session on the top deck at sunrise, or you can just have coffee or tea while watching the bay. Later you'll enjoy a hearty brunch on the ship with views from the sundeck as you head back to Ha Long City. Your driver meets you at the dock for the transfer back to Hanoi, and that's where the tour ends.
