Reykjavik
Your Flybus transfer gets you from Keflavik Airport to your hotel, and then the rest of the day is open for you to wander around Reykjavik at your own pace. Your guide, specially trained in solar eclipse astronomy, will be with you throughout the tour, so feel free to ask questions about what you're seeing around the city.

- Day 2
Thingvellir - Geysir - Gullfoss - Hella
You'll head out from Reykjavik toward the Golden Circle route this morning. First stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can actually see the Mid-Atlantic Rift and walk between tectonic plates while viewing Thingvallavatn lake. From there, you'll check out the Icelandic Horse Stables and geothermal greenhouse at Fridheimar, then move on to see the Strokkur geyser erupting every 5-7 minutes. By late afternoon you'll reach the powerful Gullfoss waterfall before heading to your hotel in Hella.

Eyjafjallajokull - Seljalandsfoss - Skogafoss - Reynisfjara - Hella
Today focuses on Iceland's raw volcanic landscape and waterfalls. You'll see Eyjafjallajokull glacier volcano, then visit the plunging Seljalandsfoss and the thundering Skogafoss waterfalls. Next, you'll walk through the Skogar Folk Museum with its turf-built traditional houses. After that comes Reynisfjara beach with its distinctive black volcanic sands. If you're interested, an optional glacier hike on Solheimajokull is available, but you'll need to book it in advance.

Reykjanes - Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik - Total Solar Eclipse Viewing
This morning you'll visit the volcanic Reykjanes headland. After that, you head to the Blue Lagoon to soak in the geothermal waters with a complimentary drink and mud mask included. You'll return to Reykjavik for check-in, then head to the ocean around 16:00 with your guide. You're positioned at an optimal viewing point on the eclipse's central axis, so you'll experience totality from 17:48:15 to 17:49:15 with eclipse glasses provided.
