Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Vila Nova de Milfontes

You'll arrive in Vila Nova de Milfontes, a charming coastal town they call the 'Princess of the Alentejo'. There's plenty to see here, starting with the whitewashed houses that line the streets and the historic fortress overlooking the area. The Mira River cuts through the landscape, and you'll want to check out Praia das Furnas where dramatic cliffs drop down to the beach. It's a nice introduction to the region's coastline.
