    The day starts at the Mosque of Hassan II, one of the world's largest religious sites that welcomes non-Muslim visitors. You'll drive north to Rabat and walk through the medina and souks, then head to Kasbah des Oudaias for mint tea with ocean views. Stop by the Mausoleum of Mohammed V before driving on to Meknes.

Erfoud is a French-built town with distinctive red sand buildings that blend into the desert. You'll visit the local market to try fresh dates, which are celebrated enough to have their own festival.

    Erfoud to Sahara Desert Camp

    You'll explore Khemliya, a traditional Saharan village on the edge of the orange Erg Chebbi sand dunes, known for distinctive music and dance. Watch a cooking demonstration of medfouna (the local specialty), then try it for lunch. A camel ride takes you through the desert to your Feature Stay camp with permanent tents, beds, and en suite bathrooms. Dinner is traditional food under the stars followed by live Gnaoua music around a fire.
