Intrepid TravelOperator•Written July 2025Some of the best scenery in the Canadian Maritimes is found on walking, so while this trip doesn't require a high level of fitness, it's essential to be at least moderately fit if you want to partake in all activities. So if you wife is okay for moderate levels of walking that would be fine.

Traveler•Written June 2025Looking at a bus or van tour of Pei, Nb and Ns. My husband can get off a bus, walk a flight of stairs, or walk about 15 minutes. We would like to be driven around, get off to take photos etc. If he has to walk a longer distance, he would be in a wheelchair so terrain would have to be considered.

Most of our trips typically involve a considerable amount of physical activity. While we can't promise anything at this stage, we'd be more than happy to look into options that may suit your husband's needs.

Our Best of Canadian Maritimes does includes a lot of walking. There are a number of hikes with uneven terrain and local walks exceeding 15 minuet's included on this itinerary. Of course these can be opted out of but it will impact the overall experience of the trip. The only time we use the transfers is when we need to get from one location to the other, otherwise all activities are done on foot and a good level of fitness is required.
