Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Oslo
You'll land at Oslo airport and get picked up based on your flight time. After collecting baggage and meeting your driver, which usually takes about an hour, head to your hotel to settle in for the night.
- Day 2
Oslo Walking Tour and Fjord Cruise
Begin with a guided walking tour through Oslo covering the Royal Palace, Karl Johans gate shopping street, Akerhus Fortress, and Oslo City Hall. After that, board an electric boat and cruise silently along the inner Oslofjord with audio commentary playing, where you can take in panoramic views either from the lounge or up on the open deck.

Oslo National Gallery and Grünerlokka Neighbourhood
Get to the meeting point on your own to kick things off. Check out the National Gallery to see Norwegian and European art from earlier periods up to the mid-1900s. Then walk along the Akerselva river heading into the trendy Grünerlokka neighbourhood, where you'll find Mathalen food hall featuring over 30 specialty shops, cafes, and restaurants to browse through.

Oslo to Bergen via Norway in a Nutshell Railway Journey
Start at Oslo Central Station for the Norway in a Nutshell train journey toward Bergen. The route winds through mountainous terrain and small villages like Gol and Geilo. Later you'll switch to the Flåm Railway and descend dramatically to Flåm village, where you have a couple hours to explore. From there, a boat takes you through Aurlandsfjord and the UNESCO World Heritage Nærøyfjord, Europe's narrowest fjord. After docking in Gudvangen, ride up the Stalheimskleiva road with its 13 hairpin turns before finishing by bus and train to Bergen.

Mount Fløyen Funicular Experience
Take the Fløibanen funicular from Bergen's city center up Mount Fløyen for views of the city and surrounding landscape stretching out in all directions. Once at the top, hiking trails and other outdoor activities are available if you want to keep exploring. The funicular has been running since 1918 and ranks as one of Bergen's most iconic attractions.

Bergen Exploration
Spend the day moving through Bergen at your own pace. Wander through Bryggen, the UNESCO World Heritage site with its old preserved houses still standing. Check out the fish and flower market to see what's on offer, ride cable cars for elevated views, and visit some of the city's museums. Bergen manages to feel like both a major destination and a small town all at once.

Departure from Bergen
Your tour ends today. A private car will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Bergen airport, with drop-off arranged 3 hours before your flight departs.
