- MARIJUL· July 24th, 2025I have already submitted my review a year ago. 2024 Trip to Denmark-Sweden-Finland-Estonia destinations were ok. GREAT Tour Operator LORENZO and a great driver who doesn't smile :) Local guides were good but needs to be more knowledgeable of toilets in their area for breaks. Most hotels are dirty, not working elevator or too small for luggages. Suggested washer/dryer in hotels to minimize packing of 2-3 weeks clothing. Less 4hr driving from country to country but should visit cities or good places in between 2 hrs to stretch and toilet stops, Not good for people taking medications.Show more
- Lilia· July 18th, 2025Review of Our Recent Guided Tour Vacation Overall, our family had a memorable experience on this guided tour vacation. The itinerary was well thought out, and we truly appreciated how smoothly the schedule ran. We especially enjoyed the balance between visiting major cities and exploring smaller towns—both offered unique perspectives and made the trip feel well-rounded. That said, there were some issues that significantly impacted our experience. One major concern was with the tour guides. A large part of our group spoke English, but the guides frequently conducted explanations in Spanish, often forgetting to translate or offering only brief summaries. When asked to provide explanations in English, they sometimes appeared visibly annoyed or reluctant to do so. This made it difficult to fully enjoy or understand the significance of some of the sites we visited. Additionally, there was an upsetting incident involving one of the guides. While walking from the hotel to the coach, my daughter—who understands Spanish—overheard the guide gossiping and making negative remarks about members of our group to the coach driver. This was highly unprofessional and disappointing to hear. Another concern was the evident favoritism shown by several guides. Certain travelers seemed to receive preferential treatment or more engagement, while others were overlooked or treated with less patience. Finally, the hotel we stayed at in Rouen was in extremely poor condition. The room was so dirty that we had to lay down towels from the bathroom just to feel comfortable walking on the floor. On top of that, the electricity was unreliable or entirely unavailable during our stay, which made for an unpleasant experience. While there were certainly positives—particularly the itinerary and destination choices—these issues with guide conduct and accommodations unfortunately detracted from what could have been an excellent trip.Show more
