- Day 1
Bangkok
You'll touch down in Bangkok this morning and get picked up for the drive to your hotel. After settling in, you'll board a long-tail boat to cruise the Chao Phraya River and the smaller interior canals, making a stop at Wat Arun temple. From there, the rest of your day opens up with free time to rest or explore on your own.

- Day 2
Bangkok
Following breakfast, your morning focuses on Bangkok's major religious sites. The Grand Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew temple come first, where you'll see the Emerald Buddha statue. Next you head to Wat Pho to view the massive reclining Buddha. The afternoon takes you to the Jim Thompson House in the city center, where you'll learn about an American businessman's life and his collection of Thai teak homes and artwork.

- Day 3
Bangkok to Ayutthaya
This morning you'll depart for Ayutthaya, the former Thai capital roughly an hour away. You'll check out multiple temples and historical sites like Wat Phu Khao Thong, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit with its large bronze Buddha, and Wat Lokaya Sutha. The day wraps up at Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, showing a mix of European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architecture (lunch is on you). Back in Bangkok by afternoon with the evening free.

- Day 4
Bangkok to Siem Reap
After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Once you land, your guide and driver will take you to the hotel. In the afternoon, you'll get on a boat ride across Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, to see a fishermen's floating village complete with floating schools and other structures.

- Day 5
Siem Reap
Your guide meets you at the hotel lobby to visit Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beauty and the longest continuous bas-relief showing Hindu mythology. Then you'll see Angkor Thom from the 12th century, including the South Gate, Bayon Temple with its 54 towers decorated with smiling faces, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch at a local restaurant (your expense), you'll visit Ta Prohm temple from the mid-12th to early 13th century, partially unrestored with massive trees growing through the structures for that jungle feel and good photo spots.

- Day 6
Siem Reap to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, your driver and guide pick you up at 7:00 AM for roughly a 5-hour drive to Phnom Penh (312km). You'll stop at Kompong Kdei Bridge, built around 1000 years ago during the Angkor period, and at Skun for specialty snacks like fried spider and fried crickets. Arriving in Phnom Penh, lunch is at a local restaurant on your dime. After a short break, you'll see the colorful Khmer-style Royal Palace built in 1866, the nearby Silver Pagoda with gold and jeweled Buddha statues, and the Tuol Sleng Prison/Genocide Museum, a Khmer Rouge interrogation and extermination camp.

Following breakfast, your morning and early afternoon are free to do what you'd like. Your driver picks you up later for the transfer to the airport and your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. You'll arrive and head to your hotel for the night.

Ho Chi Minh City
Your guide picks you up after breakfast for the journey to Cu Chi Tunnel, about 1.5 hours away. This is where Viet Cong soldiers lived underground during the Vietnam War, coming up only at night. You'll see hidden wooden entrance doors, different kinds of booby traps, and B-52 bomb craters. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you return to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum showing wartime photography and documenting conflicts. You'll see notable French colonial buildings including the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office before heading back to your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
After breakfast, your guide picks you up to travel to the Mekong Delta, where boats, houses and markets float on countless rivers and canals. You'll board a boat to cruise a branch of the Mekong River, stopping at various local workplaces and a quiet village where you can walk through dense coconut plantations and see real Delta village life. Lunch happens at a local restaurant in the rural area, then you return to Ho Chi Minh City for the night.

- Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City
Your guide picks you up after breakfast for a Vietnamese cooking class. Things start with a visit to a local market where you'll learn to pick the best ingredients. Next comes a hands-on cooking class where you'll prepare Vietnamese dishes yourself. Once the class finishes, you'll get a certificate and eat the food you've made for lunch. You'll return to your hotel for the night.

Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang to Hoi An
After breakfast, your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you'll head to your hotel in Hoi An. In the afternoon, your guide picks you up to check out Hoi An's ancient town. You'll take a boat ride and release flower lanterns as a prayer for luck for you and your family before returning to your hotel.

Hanoi
Your guide picks you up after breakfast for a motorbike tour. You'll ride as a passenger behind your guide while discovering Hanoi's highlights, including local markets and cultural sites. Throughout the experience, you'll learn about Vietnamese culture and customs before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 16
Hanoi to Bac Giang Province
Your guide picks you up after breakfast for a 1.5-hour drive to Bac Giang Province. A friendly host welcomes you, and you'll cycle around the village to learn about local culture and customs. You'll participate in a cooking demonstration making papaya salad and eat it for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll join a farming activity to learn traditional peanut cultivation, then relax with a footbath and mask-painting class. Later you return to Hanoi for the night.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, you'll leave Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, a 3-hour drive away. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its beautiful seascape, thousands of islands and islets rising from the sea, and caves with impressive stalagmites and stalactites in various sizes and shapes. Upon arrival, you'll board your cruise. Lunch gets served while sailing to Ha Long Bay. Afternoon activities include sightseeing, kayaking, swimming, and cave visits depending on your cruise's schedule. You'll stay overnight on the cruise.

Ha Long Bay to Hanoi

Brunch gets served while sailing back to the port. Your driver picks you up and transfers you back to Hanoi for the night.
