Houston
You'll arrive in Houston and settle into your hotel. After getting some rest, you'll meet up with your guide, driver, and the other travelers for a casual welcome meeting to kick things off.

Houston to San Antonio
Head to NASA's Johnson Space Center to tour more than 400 space artifacts and exhibits that cover America's human space-flight program. Later, drive to San Antonio where you'll have the evening to walk around the Downtown Area and check out the San Antonio Riverwalk.

- Day 3
San Antonio to Austin
After breakfast, you'll visit the Alamo and learn about its history and the people who defended it. Then travel to Austin, which is both the state capital and the Live Music Capital of the US. Take a city tour and walk around to see some of the nearly 250 live music venues scattered throughout.

Austin
You have free time in Austin to explore the music scene and discover where artists like Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Willie Nelson got their start. Walk 6th Street to find smaller music venues tucked around the city. Threadgills and Stubb's BBQ both offer food alongside live performances. That evening, you'll head to the Broken Spoke.

Austin to Grapevine
Leave Austin and head toward Grapevine, stopping in Waco to visit the Texas Ranger Museum along the way. You'll check into your Grapevine hotel, which sits between Dallas and Fort Worth and serves as a great central location. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting to know the area.

Grapevine to Dallas and Southfork Ranch
After breakfast, drive to Dallas and visit Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District and the 6th Floor Museum in the former Texas School Book Depository, both connected to the JFK assassination. You'll grab lunch, then head out to Southfork Ranch, the house from the TV show Dallas.

Fort Worth and Grapevine
Following breakfast, travel to the Fort Worth Stockyards to watch a cattle drive and browse western wear shops, cafes, and bars. The Cattlemen's Steakhouse is available if you want to eat there. You'll have free time to walk around the Stockyards, then head to Sundance Square to relax. Later tonight, you'll go into historic downtown Grapevine for live music and dinner.
