Strasbourg
You'll meet the group in Strasbourg at 6:00 p.m. and board the cruise ship. Dinner gets served on board, and you'll have a free evening to get settled and oriented to the ship.

Potter Villages of Alsace
Head out to the Potter villages in northern Alsace, with stops at either Soufflenheim or Betschdorf to see the local pottery work. After lunch, you'll get dancing at the Royal Palace in Kirrwiller before catching an evening show at the Music Hall Theatre. Later, head back to the ship for the night.

Strasbourg and Christmas Markets
Take a panoramic tour of Strasbourg that covers the port, Vauban fortifications, the European district, Neustadt, the medieval old town, and various religious buildings. Lunch happens on board, then you'll have a free afternoon to wander around old Strasbourg and the Petite France district on your own. Browse through the Christmas markets with over 300 wooden chalets, and in the evening join a walking tour to see the illuminated Christmas lights throughout the city. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

Our cruise on MS Symphonie was excellent. The boat and our cabin in particular were comfortable and well equipped. The food was very good, tasty, beautifully prepared and presented, with well-sized portions, and a wide variety of French cuisine including many regional specialities. The included wines were varied, delicious and demonstrated an interesting range of French varieties. The range of the other drinks on offer was also very satisfactory. We did not feel it was necessary to try any of the paid drinks but it was nice to know they were available. Service was excellent in all categories: efficient and friendly. We only took two of the optional excursions (Strasbourg and Colmar) and both were well organised and very interesting. We would happily take another cruise with CroisiEurope.

Fantastic cruise. Crew were great. Food was excellent. Excursions - Guided Tour of Paris and Landing Beaches (very informative, great guides). On evening of departure, with the upheaval of the French government and threat of lock closures, we were impressed with how staff quickly organized all passengers with coaches/early breakfast for departure from ship at 8 a.m.
