Itinerary
- Day 1
Luang Prabang
You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. Once you're ready, head to the Royal Palace Museum and check out the golden Wat Mai temple. Spend some time walking through the city center, then climb Mount Phousi in the late afternoon to catch the sunset over the Mekong River. By evening, browse through the Night Market where you can find local handicrafts and get a feel for the area.

- Day 2
Luang Prabang
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll cruise upstream on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, a 16th century monastery featuring thousands of Buddha images. The boat stops at Ban Muang Keo village where you can learn about traditional Lao rice whisky distilling. Later in the day, you'll visit Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong temples. If you're interested, there's also the option to check out Ban Xangkhong Thai Lue village and Ban Xienglek for traditional Saa paper making.

- Day 3
Luang Prabang to Hanoi
Wake early to participate in the morning alms giving ceremony with over 200 Buddhist monks, a tradition dating back to the 14th century in Laos. Visit the morning market afterward, then have breakfast at the hotel. During the day, explore Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong temples before transferring to Kuang Si waterfalls with its three-tiered 50-meter drop into clear pools. You can optionally visit the Bear Rescue Center before heading to the airport for your evening flight to Hanoi.

- Day 4
Hanoi to Bac Giang
After breakfast, you'll drive 1.5 hours to Bac Giang province to meet a local host. Cycle around the village to learn about local culture and customs, then join a cooking demonstration making papaya salad. Participate in traditional peanut farming activities and enjoy a footbath and mask-painting class before returning to Hanoi later that day.

Landmarks Bac Giang Province - Day 5
Hanoi to Ninh Binh
After breakfast, head to Ninh Binh, Vietnam's first capital during the 10th century. Visit Hoa Lu to see the ancient Dai Co Viet kingdom capital site (968-1009), exploring King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple. Have lunch at a local restaurant, then take a boat trip through Trang An grottoes, a system of 31 valleys and 50 cross-water caves surrounded by forested mountains with diverse plants and wildlife.

After breakfast, you'll drive 3 hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its seascape and thousands of islands. Board your cruise and have lunch while sailing. Spend the afternoon participating in activities like sightseeing, kayaking, swimming, and cave exploration depending on what your specific cruise offers.

Have brunch while sailing back to the port, then transfer to Hanoi and head to the airport for your evening flight to Da Nang. After arriving, you'll transfer to Hoi An.

Have lunch at a local restaurant in the rural area before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
