Itinerary
- Day 1
Cochin to Munnar
You'll arrive at Cochin Airport where your driver meets you for the transfer to Munnar, a hill station set among tea plantations and mountain scenery. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and get comfortable. It's a good time to rest up after traveling and maybe grab dinner whenever you're ready.

- Day 2
Munnar
Following breakfast, you head to Eravikulam National Park for a hike where you might catch sight of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr moving across the slopes. From there, you'll stop at Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point to take in the views across the valley. Later in the afternoon, drive up to Top Station to watch the sunset before heading back down to your hotel for dinner.

- Day 3
Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast, you'll drive toward Thekkady and get on a boat across Periyar Lake to look for wildlife. The lake is part of the Periyar Tiger Reserve, so you might spot elephants, sambar deer, or Indian bison in the forests along the shoreline. If there's time before heading back, stop by a spice plantation in Kumily to see how cardamom, pepper, and other spices are grown.

Thekkady to Kumarakom
You'll drive to Kumarakom on Vembanad Lake and check into your accommodation to relax. Later, head to the Bird Sanctuary and then take a houseboat out onto the backwaters to see the local landscape and wildlife. If you have energy left, you can visit Pathiramanal Island or head to nearby Kottayam to walk through plantations and see the historic churches there.

Kumarakom to Alleppey
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board your deluxe houseboat for a day floating through the backwaters. You'll see coconut palms lining the water, small villages along the banks, and have meals served right on the boat. By evening, the boat anchors for the night on the calm waters.

Alleppey to Kovalam
You'll have breakfast on the houseboat before driving to Kovalam and checking into your resort. In the afternoon, head to Kovalam Beach to spend time by the Arabian Sea and visit the lighthouse. Stay late enough to watch the sun drop into the ocean.

Kovalam and Trivandrum
Start with breakfast, then spend the morning on Kovalam's sandy beaches before driving inland to Trivandrum. There you'll visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Napier Museum, and Sri Chitra Art Gallery (keep in mind that non-Hindus can't enter the inner sanctum of the temple). By evening, drive back to Kovalam to relax and have dinner by the water.
