Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok
You'll arrive at Bangkok airport where a driver meets you and takes you to your hotel in the city center. Get settled into your room and take time to rest before the activities begin.
- Day 2
Bangkok
After breakfast, you'll head out to see Bangkok's main temples starting with the Grand Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha. From there, you'll walk through Wat Pho to see the massive lying Buddha, then stop at Wat Traimit to see the Golden Buddha. In the afternoon, a long-tail boat takes you along the Chao Phraya River and through interior canals, with a stop at Wat Arun. Back at your hotel, you'll have free time to relax.

You'll leave early to visit the Maeklong railway market where trains still pass through, then continue to Damnoen Saduak floating market for a motor boat ride through the waterways. After lunch on your own, you'll head to Patom Organic Village (weekends only) to learn about traditional Thai organic farming before returning to Bangkok.

Bangkok to Luang Prabang
A transfer takes you to Bangkok airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, you'll have a brief rest before exploring the Royal Palace Museum and Wat Mai temple. Before evening, you'll climb Mount Phousi to see the gilded stupa and watch the sunset over the city and Mekong River, then browse the Night Market for handmade textiles from local artisans.

Luang Prabang
Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll cruise upstream on the Mekong River through quiet countryside to reach Pak Ou Caves, a 16th-century cave monastery with thousands of Buddha images carved into limestone. Along the way, you'll stop at Ban Muang Keo village to see how locals make traditional Lao rice whisky. Back in Luang Prabang, you'll visit Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong with its distinctive two-tiered roof. If time remains, you can explore Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek to watch artisans make traditional Saa paper.

Luang Prabang to Vientiane
Wake early to watch the 14th-century morning alms-giving ritual where over 200 monks collect meals from residents, then visit the temporary morning market where locals sell fresh rice and vegetables. After hotel breakfast, you'll climb 329 steps up Phousi Hill for views of the city and river. Next comes a trip to Kuang Si waterfall with its three tiers and blue pools for swimming, plus an optional visit to the Bear Rescue Center. You'll stop at Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center to watch weavers and batik makers before catching the sunset. Later, you'll transfer to the train station for the evening speed train to Vientiane, arriving around 20:20.

After returning to town, you'll visit COPE, an organization helping landmine victims with exhibits about the Vietnam War's lasting effects. In the afternoon, you'll see That Luang, Laos's holiest site with its golden 16th-century spire, then climb Patuxay monument for city views before walking down Lane Xang Avenue to Wat Sisaket. You'll continue to nearby Wat Phra Keo, now a museum showing Lao and Khmer artwork, and end with a sunset walk along the Mekong River with local food and drinks.

Hanoi to Ninh Binh
You'll drive to Ninh Binh to explore Hoa Lu, a 10th-century capital site of the Dai Co Viet kingdom, visiting King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple. Lunch follows at a local restaurant, then you'll take a boat through Trang An grottoes, paddling through 31 valleys and 50 cross-water caves surrounded by forested mountains. The boat ride returns you to Hanoi for the night.

You'll drive 3 hours to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for thousands of islands and limestone caves. Upon arrival, you'll board your cruise and have lunch while sailing. The afternoon includes activities like sightseeing, kayaking, swimming, and cave exploration depending on your cruise, then you'll stay overnight on the boat.

Siem Reap
You'll meet your guide at 08:00am after hotel breakfast to explore Angkor Thom, the 12th-century capital. You'll start at the South Gate with its huge ocean-churning statues, then visit Bayon Temple with its 54 towers featuring over 200 smiling faces. Next comes Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King, followed by Ta Prohm Temple, famous from the Tomb Raider film. In the afternoon, you'll explore Angkor Wat, the most famous temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its beauty and the longest continuous bas-relief depicting Hindu mythology. You'll return to your hotel afterward.
