Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
You'll arrive at Cusco Airport and get transferred to your hotel. That afternoon, there's time to check out some of Cusco's most important Inca sites. Start with the Temple of the Sun (Coricancha), then move on to the Cathedral and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which sits high above the city. From there, you'll continue to the religious complex of Qenqo and then Puka Pukara, a military stronghold. After touring these sites, your transfer takes you back to the hotel for the evening.

- Day 2
Cusco to Machu Picchu
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to Ollanta train station for the journey to Aguas Calientes (about 1.5 hours by train). Once you arrive, a short bus ride takes you up to Machu Picchu. You'll have time to walk through this UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders. Later, you'll take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch, then catch the train back to Ollanta and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
