Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Vilnius
You'll arrive at Vilnius International Airport where your driver will be waiting for the transfer to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, so you'll have time to get settled and grab some rest if needed. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to adjust to the local time and maybe take a short walk around the neighborhood to get oriented.

Vilnius
Today is completely open for you to explore Vilnius on your own schedule. Start with breakfast at one of the local cafes, then wander through the UNESCO Old Town where the cobblestone streets wind between historic buildings. You can climb up to Gediminas Tower for views across the city, check out Vilnius Cathedral, and browse through any museums or galleries that catch your interest. The artistic district of Uzupis is worth a walk if you're into creative neighborhoods. Later, try some traditional Lithuanian cuisine for dinner at a restaurant in the Old Town.

Trakai
You'll join a guided day tour heading out to Trakai Island Castle. The coach ride from Vilnius includes an audio guide that covers Lithuania's history, so you'll get context as you travel. Once there, you'll explore Trakai Castle, which sits on an island in the middle of a lake and looks like something from a storybook. You'll walk through the castle rooms and chambers, then have about 80 minutes of free time to check out Trakai town on your own before heading back to Vilnius.

The Uzupis district is worth another visit or a first visit if you skipped it before. Round out the day with dinner and traditional Lithuanian food somewhere in the Old Town.
