San Antonio
You'll arrive in San Antonio and check into your hotel. The afternoon gives you time to relax or wander around on your own to get a feel for the area. Later this evening, you'll meet the other travelers in your group at a welcome dinner.

- Day 2
San Antonio
After breakfast, a guided tour takes you through the Alamo where you'll walk the historic mission complex and learn about the Texas Revolution. From there, you head to Mission San José, the largest and best-preserved of the missions, and then see Mission Concepción with its 1700s frescoes. You'll drive through the King William Historic District before stopping for dinner in this charming neighborhood.

San Antonio
Following breakfast, you take a guided walk along the San Antonio River and then board a narrated barge tour to see the city's architecture and history from the water. Next you stop at San Fernando Cathedral before heading to the Historic Market Square, the largest Mexican market in the United States. Lunch and the afternoon are yours to spend however you like. This evening brings dinner at The Pearl, a restored brewery complex that's now a dining and shopping destination.

San Antonio to Fredericksburg to San Antonio
Breakfast starts your day at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, an architectural landmark dedicated to St. Therese de Lisieux. Then you drive to Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country to visit the National Museum of the Pacific War. You'll have free time to explore Main Street's 150+ shops and restaurants, plus the Pioneer Museum. After grabbing lunch on your own, you'll head back to San Antonio for a farewell dinner that wraps up your trip.
