Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuvan International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to wander around Kathmandu, check out Thamel, or grab some authentic Nepali food at your own pace. Take it easy since the real adventure starts tomorrow.

Landmarks Thamel - Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara
An early morning bus ride takes you to Pokhara, which sits as the gateway to the Annapurna region. During the drive, you'll see lush hills, rivers cutting through the landscape, and terraced farms. Once you arrive, you can take in Phewa Lake with views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks before settling in for the night.

Pokhara to Tatopani
You'll head out on a local bus or jeep toward Tatopani, a place known for its natural hot springs. The winding mountain roads show off rural villages and waterfalls along the way. After arriving, relax in the warm waters of the hot springs to shake off the travel fatigue.

Tatopani to Hum Khola
An off-road journey takes you to Hum Khola, a small village surrounded by hills and rivers. The bumpy ride through narrow mountain paths lets you see lush terrain and maybe spot some wildlife. You'll roll in by evening, ready to start trekking the next day.

Hum Khola to Sadi Kharka
The North Annapurna Base Camp trek starts now. Your trail to Sadi Kharka winds through rhododendron and oak forests, with clearings that show off the Annapurna range. The gradual climb helps you adjust to the altitude while you pass through small settlements where locals greet you.

- Day 6
Sadi Kharka to Bhusket Mela

Bhusket Mela to Panchakunda
A shorter hike takes you to Panchakunda where the landscape shifts to rocky outcrops and meadows with wildflowers. The air feels crisp and the peaks seem close enough to touch. Locals consider this a sacred site, which adds a spiritual layer to your time here.

Landmarks Panchakunda - Day 8
Panchakunda to Annapurna North Base Camp
This is the main event of the trek. A relatively short hike brings you to Annapurna North Base Camp, where you'll see Annapurna I (8,091m/26,545ft) and the surrounding peaks. The base camp feels like its own world with glaciers and rocky terrain all around. You'll want to spend time just taking it all in.

Annapurna North Base Camp to Bhusket Mela
After a quiet morning at the base camp, you'll head back down to Bhusket Mela. The descent is easier on the legs and you'll have more daylight to enjoy the views and think about what you've accomplished. Later, swap stories with your group about the trek.

Bhusket Mela to Hum Khola
You'll trek back through the same paths to Hum Khola. The surroundings feel different now even though you've seen them before, like the mountains are saying goodbye. The downhill stretch feels good on your body and you'll reach Hum Khola ready to wrap up the trekking phase.

Hum Khola to Tatopani
The bumpy ride back to Tatopani feels like returning to something familiar after being in the backcountry. Jump into the hot springs again to soothe your tired legs and muscles. The evening lets you sit back and relax in this quiet village.

Tatopani to Pokhara
Heading back to Pokhara, you'll feel mixed emotions, relief and accomplishment blended with missing the mountains. The drive gives you one more chance to take in the hill scenery. Once in Pokhara, grab a good meal and maybe take a walk by Phewa Lake.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
The journey back to Kathmandu gives you time to process everything that happened. The city will feel like a different place after being in the remote mountains. Use the evening to either explore Kathmandu's streets or just rest at your hotel.

Departure from Kathmandu
