Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your Kathmandu hotel. After dropping your bags off, meet the other travelers and your yoga instructor at a welcome dinner. There's a gentle yoga session afterward to help you shake off the travel and settle in for the trip ahead.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Ghandruk

    Start early with breakfast, then fly to Pokhara with mountain views the whole way. From there, drive about two hours to Nayapul where the trekking kicks off. You'll hike roughly 5 hours up to Ghandruk village, taking in the Annapurna range and getting a feel for local life. Evening yoga session wraps up the day.

  3. Day 3

    Ghandruk to Chhomrong

    After breakfast, trek about 6 hours through forests and villages to reach Chhomrong. The path gives you views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare peaks along the way. Once you're settled at your lodging, there's an evening yoga session at a local center like Patanjali Yoga Center.

  4. Day 4

    Chhomrong to Dovan

    Morning yoga starts your day with Himalayan views all around. Following breakfast, you'll trek roughly 6 hours to Dovan, hiking through dense forests with river sounds keeping you company. Watch for birds and different plant species as you go. The day ends with a restorative yoga session at Shivalaya Yoga Ashram or similar.

  5. Day 5

    Dovan to Machhapuchare Base Camp

    Trek about 6 hours to Machhapuchare Base Camp at 3,700 m (12,139 ft). You'll pass through valleys and rhododendron forests with the distinctive Machapuchare Mountain as your backdrop the whole way. Once there, join an outdoor yoga session designed to deepen your connection with the landscape.

  6. Day 6

    Machhapuchare Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp

    Light yoga gets your body ready, then it's a 3-hour hike to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m (13,550 ft). The trail is relatively gentle, giving you time to take in the views as the full Annapurna range comes into sight. A meditative yoga session at camp helps you soak it all in and connect with the surrounding peaks.

  7. Day 7

    Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

The descent lets you reflect on what you've experienced and see how the landscape changes as you head lower. Evening yoga focuses on releasing tension and celebrating your trek with the group.

  8. Day 8

    Bamboo to Jhinu

    Trek roughly 6 hours to Jhinu at 1,780 m (5,840 ft) through beautiful regional landscapes. This area is known for natural hot springs, and you'll have time to soak in the warm water and ease out any soreness from trekking. An evening yoga session emphasizing relaxation, possibly outdoors, closes out the day.

From Siwai, drive roughly 2 hours back to Pokhara. There's time for a yoga session at a local center like Shivalaya or Patanjali if you're interested.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before January 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Alpine Club of Himalaya. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Alpine Club of Himalaya will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
