  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll land at Kathmandu International Airport where an Alpine Club of Himalaya representative meets you and takes you to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to walk around this historic city and get your bearings.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu

    A full day exploring Kathmandu's key religious and cultural spots. You'll start at Durbar Square to see the temples and Newari architecture, then head up to Swoyambhunath Stupa for views across the valley. Next you'll visit Pashupatinath Temple along the Bagmati River, and finish at Boudhanath Stupa with its famous watchful painted eyes.

  3. Day 3

    Kathmandu to Pokhara

    You'll head to Kathmandu's domestic airport for a 25-minute flight to Pokhara. After settling into your accommodation, spend the afternoon wandering around this city of lakes and checking out what's around.

  4. Day 4

    Pokhara to Tikhedhunga Trek

    Drive 41km to Nayapul where your trek begins. You'll hike through bamboo forests and pass a large waterfall on your way down to Birethanti. From there, continue climbing through the valley hitting Sudami, Hille, and Tikhedhunga. Stop at the ACAP Check post in Birethanti to register your permit and TIMS Card.

  5. Day 5

    Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani Trek

    Cross suspension bridges and climb over 3,300 stone steps up to Ulleri, a Magar village. The path takes you through oak and rhododendron forests, past streams, and through Banthanti and Nangathanti before reaching Ghorepani. You'll see eight different species of Nepal's national flower rhododendron growing here.

  6. Day 6

    Poon Hill Viewpoint

    An hour's climb in the early morning gets you to Poon Hill, a viewpoint with great Himalayan views. On clear days you can see Dhaulagiri I (8,167m/26,795ft), Annapurna I (8,091m/26,545ft), Machhapuchhre, and Nilgiri (6,940m/22,769ft). Head back to Ghorepani for the night.

    Trek to Nayapul and Return to Pokhara

    Trek down through woodlands retracing your path back to Tikhedhunga and then Nayapul. Drive back to Pokhara and spend the rest of the day at your own pace exploring the city.

  8. Day 8

    Seti River Rafting

    Drive 2.5 hours to Damauli for white-water rafting on the Seti River. After a safety briefing, you'll navigate through a forested canyon with clear water and lush mid-hill forests. You'll break for lunch with chances to explore, take photos, swim, or just relax. During the afternoon you'll tackle the small but technical Sarang Ghat rapid and visit the colorful Sarang Ghat village. Camp overnight on the left bank of the river.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Alpine Club of Himalaya. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Alpine Club of Himalaya will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
