Barcelona
You'll arrive in Barcelona and head to your hotel to settle in. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Wander through the narrow medieval streets, check out charming plazas with book stalls and flower vendors, and get a sense of the modern squares throughout the city.

- Day 2
Barcelona
After breakfast, you'll join a guided city tour covering Barcelona's main sights. You'll see Plaza de Cataluña, Sagrada Familia Cathedral, and the Gothic Quarter. A cable car takes you up to Montjuïch Castle for views across the city, then you'll walk through the Spanish Village to see 117 traditional buildings representing Spain's different regions. Lunch features Catalan cuisine with local Cava wine.

Barcelona to Valencia
You'll leave Barcelona and travel toward Valencia with stops along the way. First, you'll visit an ancient Roman city founded around 200 B.C. Then it's on to Peñíscola to see the historic sea castle used in the film 'El Cid'. You'll arrive in Valencia by evening for dinner featuring local specialties.

- Day 4
Valencia
The morning starts at the City of Arts and Sciences, then you'll walk through historic Valencia to see the 14th-century Serranos Tower and 15th-century Quart Tower. You'll check out the bustling central market, one of Europe's largest, and the Gothic cathedral built starting in 1262 on the site of a former mosque. At Lladró City of Porcelain you'll learn how they handmake figurines. Later, a paella experience includes a boat ride through rice fields, a visit to a traditional fisherman's home, a paella demonstration, and lunch. Evening is free to do as you like.

Valencia to Granada
After a relaxed breakfast, you'll travel through Spain's rolling hills and olive groves heading toward Granada, the last great Moorish capital before falling to the Catholic monarchs in 1492. You'll arrive in the evening with time to rest and settle in.

- Day 6
Córdoba - Seville
You'll start with the Alhambra Palace, touring the Alcazaba fortress, Charles V's Palace, the underground bath-house, and Generalife gardens. Then you'll head to Baena for a tour and tasting at a Spanish olive oil mill. From there it's on to Córdoba to explore the Old Jewish Quarter and the Mosque of the Caliphs with its 850 pillars. You'll travel through the Guadalquivir River valley to Seville for a panoramic bus tour of the city. Evening is yours to explore on your own.

You'll visit a bull ranch that produces brave bulls for the bullring and learn about the special breed developed over centuries for speed and courage. You'll explore the ranch by tractor and have lunch featuring the local specialty of brave bull meat.

Seville to Madrid
After breakfast, you'll tour Seville's iconic sites including the massive cathedral where Christopher Columbus is buried, the Moorish Giralda Tower, Santa Cruz quarter, and Alcázar. After lunch on your own, you'll board the train to Madrid. You'll arrive with free time before an evening tapas dinner and a fiery flamenco show.

You'll explore Madrid's key plazas and landmarks including Plaza de España, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains, and the Prado Museum. You'll see contemporary Madrid with its grand avenues like Gran Vía and the Salamanca district, plus sites like Las Ventas Bullring and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Then you'll travel to Toledo, a UNESCO site and Spain's medieval capital until 1560, for a tour of the Gothic cathedral, 13th-century synagogue, and Church of Santo Tomé to see El Greco's masterpiece. You'll gather for a farewell dinner celebrating the end of your Spanish journey.
