You arrive in Cyprus and head through the sunny southern coast toward your hotel near Limassol. After settling in, the group gathers for a welcome cocktail to start the trip off right.

Kykkos - Omodhos
You're heading into the Troodos Mountains to visit Kykkos, the island's most famous monastery known for its impressive frescoes and mosaics. From there, you'll make your way to Omodhos, one of the most beautiful wine villages with its cobbled streets and historic monastery. You'll have time for a wine tasting of local Cypriot wines before heading back to Limassol by evening.

Coastal Hike (Optional)
This is your choice day. You can relax by the sea at your hotel, or you can join the optional full-day excursion. If you go, you'll start at a citrus plantation where you can pick fruit and taste fresh lemonade, then hike along the southwestern coast past Aphrodite's Rock with turquoise sea views. The day wraps up with a rustic picnic featuring Cypriot specialties and wine.

Paphos - Roman Villas
You'll explore Kourion, an ancient city-kingdom perched on a rocky plateau with beautiful coastal views, where you'll see the Greco-Roman theater and the House of Eustolios. After that, you're heading to Paphos to visit the Royal Tombs necropolis and the Roman Villas, which are known for their unique floor mosaics. Before returning, you'll stop in the village of Episkop to visit Christos' ecological garden, taste homemade herbal and fruit tea, and learn about jam-making.

Kyrenia
Your morning starts in Nicosia, Europe's only divided capital, where you'll visit St. John's Cathedral next to Archbishop Makarios' palace and walk through the restored old town's narrow streets. You'll cross the Green Line on foot into the Turkish part of the city (bring your ID) to explore the Büyük Han, a restored old caravanserai near the market and Selimiye Mosque. Later, you'll drive to the north coast to see the impressive Gothic monastery ruins in Bellapais, then end the day exploring Kyrenia's lively harbor with its medieval fortress and shipwreck museum.

- Day 6
Akamas Peninsula (Optional)
You have a free day to do whatever you'd like, or you can join the optional full-day excursion to the Akamas Peninsula. If you go, you'll visit the Chrysorroyiatissa Monastery and taste local wines produced by the monks during a small picnic with fresh bread and halloumi cheese. Then you'll head to the fishing village of Latchi for a boat trip along the Akamas coast to the Baths of Aphrodite (weather permitting).

Machairas Monastery - Basket Weaving
You'll start your day at a donkey farm in Skarinou where you'll learn about donkey milking and products made from donkey milk, then visit a halloumi cheese workshop. From there, you're heading to Machairas, one of Cyprus' oldest and largest monasteries showcasing Byzantine splendor. You'll stop in the village of Choirokoitia at Petros Nikolaou's traditional stone house for a delicious traditional lunch with Cypriot wine in his garden. After lunch, Petros will share his story and show you traditional basket weaving, and you can try it if you'd like.
