Naples to Castellammare di Stabia
You'll arrive in Naples by flight or train, then head along the scenic Gulf of Naples coastline to reach your hotel in Castellammare di Stabia. If there's time before checking in, the nearby area has a few spots worth a quick look around.

Landmarks Gulf of Naples Sorrento Peninsula - Day 2
Ravello - Valle dei Mulini - Amalfi
After breakfast, take a bus to Ravello and visit the cathedral and Villa Rufolo, which hosts the famous annual music festival. From there, you'll hike through Valle dei Mulini past old paper mill ruins and lemon groves, moving through Scala and Minuta before heading down to Amalfi. Spend time exploring the cathedral and wandering the old town streets.

- Day 3
Capri
You'll take a boat out to Capri for the day with a guide. Hike up Monte Solaro from Anacapri with coastal views all around, then ride a chairlift back down for an easier descent. Visit Villa San Michele, the former home of Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe, walking through its rooms and gardens. You'll have free time in Capri town before the boat returns you to the mainland.

This optional day takes you by train to Naples for a full city tour. You'll walk through the historic old town with its narrow streets and detailed balconies, visit the cathedral, see the Church of Santa Chiara with its majolica cloister, check out the Art Nouveau Galleria Umberto and San Carlo Opera House, explore the harbor, and stroll the Lungomare promenade where you can relax at local cafes.

Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei)
You're hiking the Path of the Gods, one of Italy's most popular routes. The trail passes terraced vineyards and forests with the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula spread out below. You'll move through wild rocky terrain high above the water, stop for lunch somewhere with great views toward Positano, and then return to the hotel by coach in the afternoon.

Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius
This optional day starts at Pompeii where you'll explore the ancient excavations, seeing preserved streets, taverns, and thermal baths from centuries ago. Later, you drive up Mount Vesuvius to about 1,000 meters, hike to the summit, and walk around the crater of this sleeping volcano. The panoramic views down to the Gulf of Naples are worth the effort before you head back down and return to your hotel.

Nerano hiking circuit
You'll start a scenic hike at Nerano following an old mule track past Villa Rosa, where author Norman Douglas once lived. The path takes you through olive groves and lemon gardens to Spirito ridge with panoramic views of Punta Campanella, Capri's Faraglioni rocks, Bay of Ieranto, and the Amalfitana coast. You'll continue to Montalto tower, descend to a quarry, and have lunch at the beach. Return to the hotel for a farewell dinner reflecting on the week's experiences.
