- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
Your private driver picks you up at Ho Chi Minh City airport and takes you to your hotel. Check-in opens at 2PM, so you'll have time to settle in and freshen up. The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for the place on your own.

Mekong Delta
You're heading out early for a road trip to the Mekong Delta, where rice farming dominates the landscape. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda first, then get on a boat to cruise through the narrow canals and see how locals live along the water. There's time to walk through orchards and visit a honey bee farm, plus a tuk-tuk ride through the village and a chance to row a traditional sampan yourself. Lunch happens before the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang to Hoi An
After breakfast at your hotel, you're driven to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. Once you land, your driver meets you and takes you to Hoi An for check-in. Spend the afternoon exploring this charming city at whatever pace feels right to you.

Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountain
Start early at 7:30AM heading to Marble Mountains where local craftspeople work with stone. You can climb to the top or take an elevator if you prefer, then see the 19th-century pagodas and caves including Âm Phủ cave. By 10:30AM, you're at Monkey Mountain to check out the giant Lady Buddha statue and a nice bonsai garden. Your driver has you back at the Hoi An hotel by noon.

Cam Thanh Fishing Village
Pickup is at 9:00AM from your hotel for the trip to Cam Thanh fishing village. You'll meet local fishermen and see what daily life looks like there. Take a bamboo basket boat through the coconut forest, learn to fish with round nets and cast nets, row your own basket boat, and try catching crabs. There's a welcome drink at a fisherman's house before lunch, then you're back at your Hoi An hotel in the afternoon.

This is your free day in Hoi An. Walk through the UNESCO-listed ancient town streets to see the Japanese Covered Bridge and the distinctive architecture. Check out Hoi An Central Market during the day, or if you're there at night, explore the lantern-lit Night Market on An Hoi Island. Alternatively, rent a bike and ride out to the countryside where you can see rice fields and local villages.

Breakfast happens at your hotel, then your driver takes you to Da Nang airport. You'll fly to Hanoi and get picked up for transfer to your hotel in the city center. What's left of the day is free for you to explore the Hanoi Old Quarter on your own.

Hanoi to Ninh Binh
Travel from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital around 10:30AM. Walk through the former royal capital dating from 968-1009, checking out temples built for King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh. Lunch is at a local restaurant, after which you take a scenic boat trip through Trang An grottoes, a UNESCO site with 31 valleys and 50 cross-water caves full of plants and wildlife. Back to Hanoi by evening.

Return to the boat for an early dinner and relax for the rest of the evening, with optional activities available on board.
