Itinerary
- Day 1
Calgary to Banff
You'll arrive at Calgary Airport and head to Banff by transfer. If the timing works out, there's a chance to walk through the town itself, check out the local shops and restaurants, and take in the mountain backdrop before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Banff
A guided tour takes you through Banff National Park. You'll drive past forests, alongside clear lakes and tall peaks, and keep an eye out for elk, deer, and bears. There are several stops planned along the way for photos and to soak in the scenery.

- Day 3
Banff
This is your free day to explore at your own pace. You can head to Lake Louise if hiking and scenic walks appeal to you, or you might prefer spending the afternoon soaking in the warm mineral pools at Banff Hot Springs instead.

Banff to Jasper
You'll drive the Columbia Icefields Parkway, a 232 km route that takes you from Lake Louise to Jasper. The drive itself is the main event here, with high peaks, glaciers, and valleys covered in snow dotting the landscape throughout the journey.

- Day 5
Jasper
Another free day, this time in Jasper where the landscape gets wilder and more remote. Depending on the season, you can go hiking, try to spot wildlife, or stay up late to catch the night sky in this dark sky preserve.

Jasper to Toronto
You'll board The Canadian train for the cross-country portion of your trip. The sleeper cabin comes with good service, meals inspired by local ingredients, and access to the lounge car where you can watch the prairies and forests roll by from large windows.

Toronto
The train arrives at Toronto's Union Station in the evening. After collecting your luggage and checking into your hotel, you'll have the rest of the night free. The CN Tower is nearby if you want to go up for views, or just take a walk along the waterfront.

Toronto
On your last day, you have options. An optional trip to Niagara Falls is available if you want one more natural attraction, or you can head to Toronto Airport for your flight home whenever it's scheduled.
