- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalen Dades
You'll start in Marrakech and head into the High Atlas Mountains toward Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's been standing for centuries. After walking around this historic kasbah, the route takes you through green valleys and small Berber villages before reaching Boumalen Dades. By evening you'll be settled into a 4-star hotel with views of the Dades Valley spreading out below.

- Day 2
Boumalen Dades to Merzouga
Following breakfast, you'll drive through the Dades Valley to reach Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise dramatically on both sides. From there, continue to Erfoud to check out a fossil factory before pushing on to Merzouga. In the afternoon you'll hop onto a camel and trek across the Sahara dunes, timing your arrival at the luxury desert camp for sunset. Dinner and live nomadic music happen that evening at your camp.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Fes
You'll leave the desert either by 4WD or camel early on, then drive north through apple orchards near Midelt. Stop in Ifrane, which locals call 'Little Switzerland' because of its alpine-style architecture and mountain setting. From there it's an evening drive to Fes, where you'll check into a thoughtfully designed 4-star riad that captures the feel of traditional Moroccan hospitality.

- Day 4
Fes
After breakfast, a guided tour takes you into Fes's medieval medina, a UNESCO site packed with history. You'll see the Bou Inania Madrasa, visit traditional tanneries where leather's been dyed the same way for centuries, check out the Royal Palace, and step into Al Qarawiyyin University, one of the oldest universities in the world. Walking through the crowded streets, you'll pass artisans and spice vendors before heading back to your riad to relax.

Fes to Casablanca
You'll leave Fes after breakfast and head to Rabat, Morocco's capital. There you'll see Hassan Tower, walk through the Kasbah of the Oudaias with its coastal views, and visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Later you'll continue south to Casablanca and get settled into a stylish 4-star hotel positioned well for exploring the city's mix of old and new.

Following breakfast, you'll experience Casablanca's blend of tradition and modernity. The Hassan II Mosque overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is a focal point of the city, then you can stroll the vibrant Corniche waterfront area. You'll also visit the Royal Palace and the medina before heading back to your hotel for an evening to yourself.

Essaouira to Marrakech
You'll have a leisurely breakfast before taking a free walk through Essaouira's old medina. Around midday, grab fresh seafood lunch, then travel back to Marrakech. Upon arrival you'll check into an authentic 4-star riad near Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The evening is yours to wander the colorful souks or try local food.

- Day 9
Marrakech
After breakfast at your riad, a multilingual guide leads you through Marrakech starting at Djemaa El Fna square, surrounded by souks selling spices, leather, and local goods. You'll visit Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and Medersa Ben Youssef. Lunch happens in the medina, then you'll see the Koutoubia Mosque and have the option to visit Majorelle Gardens at 16:00 (75°F/24°C typical). By evening Djemaa El-Fna becomes an open-air gathering place before dinner.

Marrakech to Ourika Valley
After breakfast at your riad, you'll head out on a day trip to Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains. The route includes a visit to a women's argan oil cooperative and walks through traditional Berber villages. A guided trek takes you to Setti Fatma's seven waterfalls, and lunch is traditional tajines at a riverside restaurant. You'll have time to relax after eating before returning to Marrakech.
