- MSMichael· November 18th, 2025STM Tours LLC are great at answering questions about the trip, highly responsive before/during, and refunded me for one of the cancelled tours. They were kind and detailed when answering questions. They did tell me I would be transported via their company vans, but they were just ubers they ordered. The tour groups they hired for the tours (Radius) were not as great. Guides were mostly informed on information, but were rude/dismissive to me whenever I had a question. I wore sweats since it was cold and I’m not sure if that part of the world just hates anyone that wears sweats outside, but sorry for being comfortable. The hotels they put me in were great in location in terms of being right next to the trains for convenience for travel to other places and food. The hotels were clean inside. HOWEVER, incredibly rude and inconsiderate staff - whenever I needed something simple as hot water at the Berlin and Munich hotels I was met with eye rolls and mumbling. A couple of times I asked for wake up calls, they did not do them (even mentioning them multiple times to make sure they had them written down and were going to do them). I accidentally spilled water once at the Ibis and was yelled at by reception - unacceptable behavior. I was told by STM that I could get breakfast boxes by all hotels but the Ibis told me “you can come down when breakfast is ready like everyone else here” and were unwilling to accommodate for guests. The Ibis would yell at me for taking “the wrong glasses” that were specific for breakfast when they did not communicate “rules” to begin with. The Ibis was in Berlin and I do not recommend that place to anyone. Both the Ibis and the Leonardo (in Munich) when asked about area recommendations had nothing to give me as a tourist which felt dismissive. One of the staff at the Leonardo laughed at me and told me “idk what you want me to do about that” when I mentioned my DND sign was taken from my door and had to ASK him for another. Why the attitude? Culture in general there was not friendly and was often disrespectful. I will probably not go back to STM since this was a mixed experience - appreciated the flexibility in my tour to do tours not at 6 AM and also the responsiveness in questions (resolution in issues, however, were often not met). Especially the places I stayed at could have been way better.Show more

I noticed that there are different arrival days listed on your sight, I'm just trying to determine which one to sign up for. We have flexibility in our arrival to Germany and departure days. What trip should I sign up for to just keep the normal schedule but be in Hamburg on the 23rd to attend the concert?
