Arrival in Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and connect with your Tour Director. Later this evening, there's a Welcome Reception where you'll meet your fellow travelers and get your Swiss adventure started.

Lucerne
This morning includes an orientation walk through Zurich's city center, checking out the UNESCO-listed Old Town and its medieval architecture. Then you'll head to Lucerne for a walking tour, where you can see the famous Chapel Bridge and its octagonal Water Tower with the Swiss Alps in the background.

Mount Pilatus Cogwheel Railway
You'll take the world's steepest cogwheel railway up to Mount Pilatus's peak, taking in flower-filled pastures, rugged mountain ledges, and snow-capped peaks along the way. Later this evening, you have the option to try a traditional dinner with entertainment at a Swiss Folklore restaurant.

Zermatt
The day takes you through Interlaken and on to Zermatt, a car-free, eco-friendly resort town below the Matterhorn. You can spend your evening strolling the charming streets or relaxing at your Swiss chalet-style hotel, which has a spa and mountain views.

Zermatt
After breakfast, a guide will show you around Zermatt's Hinterdorf (Old Village), where you'll see about 30 traditional chalet-style barns and shops from the 16th to 18th centuries. The afternoon and evening are free to relax, or you can arrange an optional scenic helicopter flight for views of the Swiss Alps from above.

Glacier Express - St. Moritz
You'll travel to Brigg and board the Glacier Express, a narrow-gauge train on one of the world's most scenic alpine routes heading to St. Moritz. Through panoramic windows, you'll see jagged peaks, lush meadows, vineyards, and forested hillsides. Check in at your hotel before dinner.

Innsbruck - Munich
Today involves crossing into Austria, traveling to Innsbruck on the way to Munich. You'll have time to walk around Innsbruck and soak in the atmosphere before heading on to Munich.

Munich
A guided tour shows you Munich's highlights, including the famous Glockenspiel on the Town Hall and the historic city center with the iconic Frauenkirche. The afternoon is yours to either relax or continue exploring, and then there's a special dinner this evening.

Munich
You have the full day to yourself in Munich. If you're interested, there's an optional tour to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Castles, two major Bavarian landmarks. Linderhof is a French rococo-style palace with manicured gardens, while Neuschwanstein is the fairy-tale castle on a cliff that inspired Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

Passau
In Passau, a guided walking tour takes you through the cobbled lanes of the Altstadt to see its historic architecture. From there, you'll head to the Aldersbach Brewery (founded 1268) for a tour with local musicians welcoming you. Then it's into the festival hall for locally brewed beer tastings, local food, live music, and singing in the spirit of Oktoberfest.

Linz
You can choose how to spend your time. Either have a relaxed day exploring Linz on your own, or join an optional tour to Ceský Krumlov in the Czech Republic (a UNESCO town with over 300 historic buildings and a preserved medieval center), or to Salzburg to see the Wedding Church from The Sound of Music and tour Mozart's hometown.

Wachau Valley - Dürnstein
A local guide will take you to Melk Abbey, an active Benedictine monastery since 1089. You'll cruise through the picturesque Wachau Valley and continue to Dürnstein, where the afternoon is free to explore. There's also an optional wine tasting tour where you can try Grüner Veltliner or Riesling from the region, plus local brandy.

Vienna
You'll drive around Vienna's Ringstrasse to see the city's most famous buildings. After arriving in the center, a walking tour shows you St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Graben, and Hofburg Palace from an insider's perspective. Later you might browse the Naschmarkt, and there's an optional Mozart and Strauss concert in one of Vienna's palaces this evening, followed by a drive around the illuminated Ringstrasse.

A walking tour takes you through Bratislava's Old Town to see St Martin's Cathedral, Primatial Palace, and Main Square. You'll also visit Michael's Gate, the only surviving original gate from the city's four historic entrances. Tonight celebrates the end of your river cruise with a Captain's Farewell Dinner.

You'll wake to views of Budapest along the Danube and then disembark. Your local guide will take you to impressive sights including Heroes' Square and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The afternoon is yours to explore Budapest freely, or you can join an optional tour of the Hospital in the Rock, a World War II museum located in caves beneath Buda Castle.
