- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi whenever your flight gets in, and your driver will be waiting to pick you up at the airport. After getting to your hotel and checking in, the rest of the day is open. Rest if you need to, or take a walk around and get a feel for the city. It's a good time to shake off travel fatigue and start getting your first impressions of Vietnam.

Halong Bay Cruise
Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:10 and 8:30 am. After a 20-minute break halfway through, you'll reach Tuan Chau Harbour by noon. Board your Sunlight Legend cruise and check into your cabin, then have lunch while cruising through Halong Bay. In the afternoon, head to Sung Sot Cave. Later, swim at Titop Island and watch the sunset from the sundeck. Before dinner, join a cooking class to make fresh spring rolls. The evening brings fishing and karaoke on the bay.

- Day 3
Halong Bay to Hoi An
Get up early to catch the morning fresh air. Breakfast comes at 7:30 am. At 8:30 am, take a boat out to Bo Hon Island and explore Luon Cave by either bamboo boat or kayak. The cruise back toward Tuan Chau Harbour is beautiful, and lunch is served while you're heading back. Check out by noon and drive back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel around 4 pm. Your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Hoi An. After landing, you'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Free time tonight to wander around Hoi An's ancient town.

Hoi An
Today is open for you to explore Hoi An at your own pace. There are over 400 tailoring shops if you want custom clothes made (a full suit takes about a day, while handbags or shoes take around 4 hours). Try a Banh Mi sandwich at Madam Khanh's stand for lunch. Spend the afternoon checking out the famous sights on foot. After dark, stop by the lantern market to see craftspeople making paper lanterns. There's free outdoor traditional theatre on Nguyen Thai Hoc street from 9 to 10 pm featuring Vietnamese folk dancers and musicians. End the evening with a candle ritual in the water channel before heading back to your hotel.

My Son and Cam Thanh
Your guide and driver pick you up at 9 am from your Hoi An hotel. You'll reach My Son holy land by 10 am. Walk through the historic ruins of the 13th-century Champa civilization with your guide explaining the towers and monuments, and you'll also see a traditional Cham Pa dance performance. At 12:30 pm, head by minibus to a local family's home for lunch. After eating, take a boat to Cam Thanh eco-village to watch fishermen using traditional methods. Spend 45 minutes in basket boats paddling through the nipa palm forest. Return to your hotel in Hoi An for the night.

Ba Na Hills to Ho Chi Minh City
Have breakfast at your hotel and check out. Your driver and guide meet you at 8 to 8:30 am in Da Nang (or 7:30 am if starting from Hoi An) to head to Ba Na Hills. Board a cable car at 9:30 am that's won multiple world awards. Check out Debay Wine Cellar (built in 1923, separate entrance fee), Le Jardin D'Amour Flower Garden, and the Golden Bridge with its iconic Hands of God sculpture. Stop at Linh Ung pagoda to see the 27-meter Buddhism statue. Rest and have lunch at 11:30 am. At 12:30 pm, climb to Chua Mountain's peak at 1487 meters to visit Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple. Explore French Square and Fantasy Park, Vietnam's largest indoor amusement park. At 3:30 pm, head down and drive to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City
Your driver picks you up from your hotel to head to Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network built by Vietnamese fighters over 25 years. The complex has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, and command centers. After a short intro video, spend about an hour exploring the tunnel maze. You'll see mantraps, an American tank, and bomb craters from B52 bombers. Grab lunch at a restaurant. Back in Saigon by around 2 pm. Spend the afternoon at Notre Dame Cathedral (built in the late 1800s), the General Post Office (designed by Gustave Eiffel), and Jade Emperor Temple, one of Vietnam's best Taoist temples with impressive carvings and animal sanctuaries. Wander Ben Thanh market for about two hours, one of Saigon's liveliest spots, and visit a lacquer workshop to see traditional Vietnamese craft. Return to your hotel.

Mekong Delta
Escape the city and take a 1-day Mekong Delta tour to Ben Tre, known as Vietnam's coconut kingdom. Your driver and guide pick you up between 8 and 8:30 am. After roughly 2 hours of driving, reach the port for a cruise on the Tien River to see four islets representing mythical animals: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix. Visit a honey bee farm and taste honey tea with lemon and tropical fruits. There's an option to touch pythons at a local python farm. Head to a coconut candy workshop to watch and learn traditional hand-made candy. Experience traditional 'Don Ca Tai Tu' folk music, which is UNESCO-recognized. Relax on a rowing boat through a mangrove palm canal, then ride a horse-drawn carriage through the village as locals did in the 19th century. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest and oldest ancient pagoda in Southern Vietnam, with both Asian and Western architecture. You'll be back in Saigon around 5 pm and dropped at your hotel.
