    Arrival

    You'll arrive in China and get transferred from the airport to your hotel. From there, the day is open for you to explore the area or take things easy as you adjust to the new time zone and environment.

  2. Day 2

    Beijing

    You have the full day to walk around Beijing on your own schedule. Later in the evening, a transfer takes you to Wangfujing Street, a busy pedestrian shopping area with plenty of shops and places to eat. After checking out the district, you'll head back to your hotel for the night.

  3. Day 3

    Great Wall - Art District - Temples

    After breakfast at your hotel, you'll take a cable car up to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, a 2,000-year-old structure with great views. Back in the city, you'll see the 798 Art District with its contemporary galleries and then visit the Temple of Heaven UNESCO site. You'll finish with a foot massage and Tai Chi class before returning to rest.

  4. Day 4

    Beijing City Tour

    Starting after breakfast, you'll spend the day touring Beijing's major sites. The Forbidden City comes first, the massive complex where 24 emperors ruled. From there, head to Jingshan Park for views overlooking it, then see Tiananmen Square and its surrounding buildings. The Summer Palace with its gardens and lakes is next. Late in the day, take a tricycle ride through old Hutong neighborhoods to see traditional courtyard houses and historic alleyways.

    Beijing to Nanjing

    After breakfast, head to the train station to board a high-speed train traveling at 300 km/h. In under four hours you'll cover nearly 1,000 km and arrive in Nanjing, a city of eight million. You'll see Purple Mountain including the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Linggu Temple, then have free time to explore the city at your own pace.

    Nanjing to Suzhou to Shanghai

    Following breakfast, you'll travel to Suzhou to visit its UNESCO-listed classical gardens, starting with the Humble Administrator's Garden. You'll walk along Pingjiang Road with traditional buildings and canals, then go to Tongli, an old water town with preserved houses and stone bridges. A scenic canal boat ride lets you see the town from the water. Later, you'll continue on to Shanghai, China's most vibrant modern city.

    Shanghai

    Today you'll see Shanghai's key attractions across different areas. Start in Pudong, the financial district, to see tall skyscrapers like Pearl Tower from a ferry for city views. The Old City and Yuyuan Garden come next, followed by a traditional tea ceremony. You'll check out Xintiandi with upscale shops and restaurants, then Tianzifang with galleries and boutique stores. End with a walk on the Bund waterfront to see colonial buildings and modern buildings across the river.

In the evening, take the metro to Shinjuku, one of Tokyo's most energetic areas known for nightlife and entertainment. You'll experience the city's busy atmosphere and smooth train system before heading back to your hotel by metro with your guide.

    Tokyo

    During this 5-hour guided tour, you'll see how Tokyo blends old and new. Visit Zojoji Temple with its Tokyo Tower views and traditional Jizo statues, then Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest intersections anywhere. Next is Meiji Temple, a serene spot dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife, followed by walks on stylish Omotesando and around the Imperial Palace gardens with Nijubashi Bridge. You'll stop in Akihabara for electronics and pop culture, then finish at Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's oldest major Buddhist temple, and walk through nearby Nakamise Street.

For tours departing after March 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Receptivo Aborigen Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
