Itinerary
- Day 1
Lucerne
You'll arrive in Lucerne and check into your hotel, then head up to Mt. Rigi by train and cable car to see the classic Swiss landscape with meadows, forests, and grazing cows. After that, take a scenic boat ride on Lake Lucerne where you can spot villages and mountain views. You'll get a 3-day Regional Pass that covers public transport and sightseeing around the area.

Lucerne
Take a train to Engelberg and ascend Mt. Titlis by gondola and cable car through high alpine scenery with rocks and snow. The Ice Flyer chairlift lets you fly over the glacier. Later, head to Stanserhorn using the historic CabriO open-air double-decker cable car from 1893 for 360-degree views of Alpine peaks and Swiss lakes. The revolving restaurant there costs extra if you want to eat there.

Lucerne
You'll go to Mt. Pilatus, one of Central Switzerland's most well-known mountains, where clear days show panoramic views of 73 Alpine peaks. The roundtrip involves a paddle steamer, the world's steepest rack-railroad, aerial cable car, and bus. Sports and hiking tours are available too. If you pick the rack-railroad option, you'll need to reserve a seat ahead of time.
