Istanbul
You'll land in Istanbul and get transferred to your hotel in the old city. There's a welcome package waiting with tour vouchers, a map, and tourist information. The rest of the day is yours to either rest up or wander around and get a feel for the city on your own.

- Day 2
Istanbul
After your hotel pickup, you're heading out for a full-day guided tour hitting Istanbul's main sights. You'll see Hagia Sophia Mosque from outside, walk through the Byzantine Hippodrome, check out the Blue Mosque with its famous blue tiles, tour Topkapi Palace where Ottoman Sultans lived, and spend time in the Grand Bazaar with its 4,000 shops. Later you'll return to Istanbul for the night.

- Day 3
Istanbul to Trabzon
After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for a flight to Trabzon on the Black Sea coast. Once you arrive and get transferred to the city center, a full-day guided tour begins. You'll visit the Aya Sofya Museum, Atatürk's Villa, climb Boztepe Hill for views of the city and sea, and see Sera Lake, an artificial lake formed through natural rock formations.

Trabzon to Erzurum
This day covers natural and historical sites one after another. You'll start at Sumela Monastery carved into a cliff with forest views, then explore Cosandere Valley. Next comes the Ancient Tortul Castle where there's a 240-meter-high glass observation platform for panoramic views, followed by Karaca Caves with easy walkways and good lighting. After that, you'll drive to Erzurum for the night.

Erzurum to Kars
You'll begin by visiting the Double Minaret Madrasah, a late 13th-century Seljuk structure. From there, you're driving to the ancient city of Ani to walk through its ruins like Halaskar Church, Pictorial Church, Great Cathedral, and Ebul Menucehr Mosque. After returning to Kars, you'll explore the city's mix of Russian and Ottoman architecture, including Alexander Nevsky Church, Cheltikov Hotel, the Russian consulate, and Kars Castle.

Kars to Ankara
After breakfast, you'll head to Kars Train Station and board the Dogu Express toward Ankara. This 18-hour journey has you traveling in a 4-bedded sleeper cabin. There's a restaurant car on board where you can grab meals and drinks while watching the scenery of Eastern Turkey and the Euphrates River pass by.

Ankara to Cappadocia
The train pulls in around 2:30 am at Kayseri Station and you'll be transferred to your hotel. After settling in, the Cappadocia tour starts with a late morning departure at 11:00 am. You'll explore Devrent Valley with its fairy chimneys, visit Pasabag with its double and triple-headed rock formations, grab lunch in Avanos known for pottery, then tour the Cappadocia Open Air Museum with 10th-century wall paintings of Jesus and monks, ending at Uchisar Castle on a natural fairy chimney.

You can book an optional early morning hot air balloon tour to see the valleys and region from above. After breakfast at the hotel, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Once you land, you'll be transferred to your hotel for your final night.
