- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive at the airport and head to your hotel to get settled in. After traveling, you'll have time to rest and get acclimated to your new surroundings.
- Day 2
Bethlehem
Start with breakfast, then spend the morning in Jerusalem's New City checking out the Museum of Israel with the Dead Sea Scrolls, Hebrew University, and the Ein Karen neighborhood. Later, head to Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. In the afternoon, travel to Bethlehem with a Palestinian guide to see the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds' Field before returning to Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Old City
Explore Old City Jerusalem starting early at Mount Scopus and the Mount of Olives for views across the city. Walk through Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony, then make your way to the Western Wall and Via Dolorosa leading to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Finish the day at Mount Zion visiting King David's Tomb, the Cenacle, and the Abbey of the Dormition.

Jerusalem to Amman
Leave early for Sheik Hussein Bridge at the Israel-Jordan border and cross into Jordan. Check out the 12th-century Fortress of Ajlun and the historic Church of Saint Sergius, then continue to the Roman archaeological site of Jerash. You'll arrive in Amman for the night after a full day of travel and exploration.

Mount Nebo
Travel to the Desert Castles from the 7th-8th centuries, visiting Qasr Kharana and Qusayr Amra with its remarkable frescoes. From there, head to Madaba to walk through the Archaeological Park and see the Church of St. George with its 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. End your day at Mount Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land.

Head to Bethany on the River Jordan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Visit the Dead Sea Museum and its Panorama Complex, then travel to your Dead Sea hotel. By evening, you'll have time to float in the world's saltiest and lowest-altitude sea.

Shobak - Wadi Musa
Travel the historic King's Road through Moab Kingdom territory and visit Karak castle, an impressive 12th-century fortress. Arrive in Dana, a stone village perched on a cliff edge. Continue past Shobak Crusader Castle to Wadi Musa, where you can explore Moses Spring and the Petra Museum. Optional activities include a Turkish bath or light and sound show in the evening.

Wadi Rum
The highlight awaits as you visit Petra through a narrow canyon, discovering temples and tombs carved into the cliffs. After lunch, head out into Wadi Rum by 4x4 vehicle for a 45-minute camel ride and visit Khazali Canyon with its ancient Arabic engravings. You'll spend the night in a desert camp.

Travel to Aqaba on the Red Sea coast, then cross into Israel and head to Eilat, a modern tourist city with nice beaches. Stop for a photo of Pharaoh's Island and its Saladin fortress before continuing into Sinai toward Saint Catherine. You'll arrive with dinner included.

Travel through Sinai's desert landscapes and stop at the Well of Moses. Later, leave Sinai through the tunnel under the Suez Canal to reach Cairo.

Leave Cairo to explore Egypt's desert lakes and see the Pyramid of Meidum, the first stepped pyramid built 2,600 years ago. Check out the Oasis of Al Fayoum and Qarum Lake. Grab lunch in Tunis village, then visit Wadi Rayyan National Park with its saltwater lake and small waterfalls. Explore Wadi Al Hittan, the Valley of the Whales, before continuing to Menia on the Nile.

Continue to the Tombs of Mir with nine ancient tombs, then visit Deir El-Muhrraq monastery where Mary and Jesus reportedly sheltered for six months. End the day in Assiut.

You'll have free time in the morning to explore Luxor on your own. Travel to Dendera, one of Egypt's best-preserved complexes thanks to centuries of sand and mud protection. After lunch, drive through desert mountain ranges toward the Red Sea coast, arriving in Hurghada to settle into your all-inclusive resort.

Travel along the Red Sea to visit the Monastery of St. Anthony, the oldest monastery in Christendom from the 4th century. Continue to El Galala, one of Egypt's new desert cities, and ride the cable car to Africa's highest slope with views of the new city, university, and modern design. Return to Cairo later.
