Itinerary
- Day 1
Las Vegas to Zion National Park
You'll get picked up from the Palms Casino coach loading curb in Las Vegas and head toward Zion National Park to check out the towering canyon walls and red sandstone cliffs. The easy Emerald Pools walk is available, or if weather cooperates, you can tackle the river hike into the Narrows instead. Your first night you'll camp at a full-service spot with electricity, Wi-Fi, hot showers, and flush toilets.

- Day 2
Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park
You'll drive to Bryce Canyon National Park, climbing up to 8,000 feet/2,438 meters elevation. A leisurely hike along the rim lets you take in the unique sandstone spires called hoodoos that rise from the natural amphitheatre. After that, you'll hike down into the hoodoos themselves to experience the landscape from below. Back at camp, there's a hot tub to relax in and a campfire in the evening.

- Days 3 - 4
Canyonlands - Arches National Park
From Bryce Canyon, you'll head toward Canyonlands National Park where optional sunset Hummer tours or canyoneering adventures are available. Over the next two days, you'll explore both Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. In Canyonlands, walk to where the Green River meets the Colorado River and learn about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. You'll spend time in Moab, then check out Delicate Arch in Arches and walk past over 2,000 natural stone arches and rock formations.

- Day 5
Arches National Park to Monument Valley
After breakfast, you'll head south from Arches and Canyonlands toward Monument Valley, an iconic Southwest destination. A local Navajo guide will lead your included 4x4 Jeep safari through the landscape. You'll camp right on the rim where you can see the stars and catch the sunrise from the front row.

- Day 6
Monument Valley to Antelope Canyon to Grand Canyon
Following breakfast, you'll travel to Antelope Canyon (optional visit to this famous slot canyon) and stop at Horseshoe Bend to see the scenic Colorado River bend. There's a Navajo trading post to check out for handmade crafts and traditional arts. Then you'll continue to the Grand Canyon where you can walk the rim at sunset, hike into the canyon, or relax at a rim café. The day wraps up with a cookout and campfire.

Grand Canyon to Las Vegas
You'll head back to Las Vegas, making a stop at one of the historic Route 66 towns along the way. Once you arrive in Las Vegas, you'll check into your 3-star hotel and have free time to relax by the pool or explore the Strip. Note that some group members may leave here while others join, and your guide and vehicle may change for the second part of the tour.

- Day 8
Las Vegas to Death Valley to Bishop
From Las Vegas, you'll head northeast into California to Death Valley National Park, known as the hottest and driest place in North America. You'll stop to photograph and walk around highlights like Zabriskie Point, Artist's Palette, Badwater Basin salt flats, Furnace Creek Visitor Center, Devil's Golf Course, and Mesquite Sand Dunes. A picnic lunch happens in the park, then you'll continue north to the historic Gold Rush city of Bishop to camp for the night.

- Day 9
Bishop to Yosemite National Park
You'll drive to Yosemite National Park via a scenic route crossing Tioga Pass and passing Olmsted Point, Lake Tenaya, and Tuolumne Meadows. Upon arriving at Yosemite, you'll visit the Valley Visitor Center for a short orientation tour with your guide to prepare for full exploration tomorrow. You'll camp in the Yosemite National Park area.

Yosemite National Park
Your day is spent exploring Yosemite with group walks led by your guide and free time to explore on your own. You'll see Bridalveil Falls and Lower Yosemite Falls, plus wonderful views of Half Dome and El Capitan. Watch for wildlife like deer, marmots, bobcats, and black bears as you walk around. This is your final night camping in the Yosemite wilderness.

Yosemite National Park to San Francisco
You'll leave Yosemite and drive west across California to San Francisco, a trip taking about 3.5 hours. The tour includes a sightseeing tour where you'll see the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and the historic hippie district of Haight Ashbury. The tour wraps up around 5pm with drop-off in the center of the city.
