Athens
This morning you'll join a guided tour with a Local Specialist to see the Acropolis and its iconic monuments. Then you'll check out the included Acropolis Museum to view ancient artifacts. The rest of your day is open, so you can walk through Plaka, spend time in Syntagma Square, or hunt down the city's best souvlaki wherever you find it.

Nafplion - Olympia
Traveling through the Arcadian mountains toward Olympia, you'll stop at a family-run honey farm to taste thyme-infused honey and learn about traditional beekeeping. Then explore the ancient Olympic Games site where athletes once competed, walking through the ruins of the Temples of Zeus and Hera and the original stadium. This evening is yours to check out the village or relax at your hotel.

From there, head north to Patras and cross the Gulf of Corinth toward Delphi, where you can try your hand at preparing local dishes during an optional interactive cooking lesson.

Continue on to Thermopylae where you'll see the Leonidas Monument dedicated to the 300 Spartans, then drive across the fertile Thessaly plains heading toward Kalambaka.
